  • I think I have just joined UK 3&4? I'm not sure though haha this site confuses me!
  • 1) What color clothes would you stay away from, for your gender? Nothing I would stay away from but I prefer to work out in plain colours similar to those of a school uniform (black, grey & white mostly) 2) What is the biggest problem you currently see with the apparel you wear while working out or playing sports? I used…
  • I can't believe we have a thread debating the health benefits of a Mars Bar. Deep-fat-fried or not, it's a Mars Bar. Tasty as they may be they aren't healthy by any stretch of anyone's imagination.
  • Surely if it is your job you should be increasing your activity level (from sedentary to highly active?) as you are doing it frequently. This way you don't count it as excersise and so don't need to consider it in your calories
  • I have bought a load of clothes which are a little snug now but will look fantastic when I am at goal! I am also going to get a tattoo on my hip which I have wanted for years! Hey, I might even save for a holiday since I will be able to wear a bikini without feeling self conscious for once!
  • To be able to run as 5k, outside, without stopping. It's not like I am asking for a full marathon but after running 1.5 today it sure feels like it!
  • Mozzarella! All other cheese I can eat in moderation but if I get a mozzarella ball I have to eat it all!
  • I did this at the start of my journey and it worked! For now however I just have a savings box which I pop money in every time I do certain things (every time I eat something I haven't planned, every time I get cravings) it is filling up quite nicely & I refuse to spend a penny of it until I reach my mini- goals! x
  • Yes walking is brilliant excersise! I have had a 'dodgy hip' for as long as I can remember which means it often slips out of place doing running or cycling but is fine while walking! I have found that it helps me lose weight, improves my fitness and has even helped my hip get a little better! x
  • I work out in my pj bottoms, a vest top and tennis shoes which must be at least 10 years old (hand-me-downs from a relative). I realise that I probably look scruffy or like I am not taking it seriously but I can't afford anything else right now and the only person that suffers is me! (them shoes dont help my legs when…
  • Today I will keep on track because I can finally see progress in bothy fitness and my appearance and it feels good!
  • Did an hour in the gym with mixed strength and cardio, actually got on the treadmill for the first time in years as I want to get back into running. Then did an hour on the wii fit tonight with the intention of freeing up calories for frozen yogurt but I wasn't hungry when I had finished!
  • I allow myself one take away per month (kinda like everyone else's cheat days but monthly) i time this for during that time. I also buy a bar of dark chocolate and allow myself a strip per day for that week, along with low cal frozen yogurt and low cal hot chocolate! Apart from that I just get through it with lots of…
  • I have an iud so sometimes my cramps leave me unable to move. I have found that eating right, drinking enough water and exercising have helped them though. I usually just dose up on painkillers, have a hot beverage (green tea/fruit tea works best) and get on with it! Then treat myself to a little something after (low cal…
  • I 'recovered' a few years ago, though I still have some aspects of my life where it bothers me (such as food shopping). I found the most importan part of recovery was to go through the therapy as it helped me develop a more healthy image of myself and develop realistic goals. I also found getting into sports and training…
  • Because I've never known what it feels like to be happy with my appearance!
  • Log everything you eat and drink, an make sure it is measured out. It is easy to drink away your calories and to not realise how a portion should look. Don't deprive yourself of anything but also don't use that as an excuse to eat everything you love. Sometimes you will have to say no to that big BBQ burger and yes to a…
  • I'm 20 and in desparate need for more friends on here! Feel free to add me :)
  • I met my boyfriend's best friend, she looked straight at me and said "Oh, she's not your usual type". I got turned down a bar job because I didn't have "The image that the bar was going for". My friend's little brother asking why her legs aren't as big as mine (He's 6)
  • The amount of sodium in the average subway sandwich...
  • Hey everyone, I'm becky I was 164 when i left my last seminar a few weeks ago and although I have gained a few pounds back with going on holiday since I want to be Atleast 154 when I return in September! x
  • Between 2 and 5 times per week. It purely depends on what I am doing and how much free time I have. Even if I cant fit in time at the gym I make sure I am walking for 30mins-1hour per day to try and get excersise feel like a natural part of the day rather than a commitment I resent.
  • Officially I weigh-in and record my weight once every two weeks on either a Tuesday or Wednesday. I actually step on the scales every day, sometimes more than once (Mostly through pure curiosity to see how my body reacts to different foods.)
  • I'm in :) I need some kind of motivation!
  • Aww Cograts! and well done for pushing through when many would have given up :)

  • I'm a UK uni student (which is pretty much the same thing, right?) I've been on and off this site so many times but since coming to uni it has really helped me keep healthy. :)
  • wow everyone seems to be doing so much! Sun - 45-50 minute gym trip Mon - 45-50 minute gym trip Tues- Swimming Wed - Rest (maybe a gym trip, depending on lectures) Thurs - Walk Fri - Rest (maybe a gym trip, depending on lectures) Sat - Rest.
  • I had to punch a new hole in the belt I use every day, two inches from the one I used to use! (I broke a nail doing it, but it's worth it)
  • I sometimes get hungry at around 9/10pm, but I just go to sleep and get over it, or have a large glass of water. I think it is because I used to snack a lot at night and now I try not to eat past 7pm!
  • You look fantastic! Way to go =)
