I too, work at eating only 1200 calories a day. May go slightly over, no more than 1300. Well said. I am the same. I eat 1200 calories a day, and my goal is not to eat active calories. For my body, that is what I need to do to lose weight. And mostly, it works fo rme as well.

My nutritionist had told me that the calories you burn from excercise should not be included in the calories you take in a day from food.

That is great!! I'm in the same boat. According to my BMI, I have also just moved from "obese" to "overweight". Isn't it a great feeling? It is quite an accomplishment and keep up the good work :-)

My opinion is if you're on a free site, you don't know what you're gonna get. I've done the online thing, but never any luck. I dealt with some people who ended up being very different in person, than they portray online. But I do know people who have met their love online, so it can work. :-) Best of luck!! :-)

I've lost 9 lbs since 1/1/13. I added a new motivation to my weight loss, which is to donate a kidney to help my sister in law. I found out, based on my weight and height, my BMI is 33 and I need to be at 30 to even be considered a candidate to go in for further testing. At that time, I was 19 lbs away. I'm now 13 lbs away…

I am currently 185, and I want to get down to 140, where I was before I quit smoking. I want to limit the amount of times I'm going to the chiropractor. I want to feel better about myself. I was never really skinny and don't have that a goal, but to get down to a reasonable size for my height 5'1"

I do understand this. We go to my mother and father in-laws for dinner every Sunday and mother in law always over does it for dinner. I do agree. My nutritionist told me 1200 calories is not enough. She told me to eat 1,500 calories. If the calories are not enough, your body will think you are starving yourself.

Wow, that's great. You lost that baby weight in 5 months. I have another 13 lbs before I lose the baby weight. but I need to lose an additional 35 lbs beyond my pre-pregnancy weight. Congrats again!! :-) I hope this helps in toning, so you feel better.

I weight myself twice a week, on Sunday mornings, and Thursday mornings. My nutritionist recommended twice a week. She told me, weighing myself every day would be discouraging, and if doing it once a week, we all have "fat" days and "skinny" days.
