  • I wore a pair of shorts for the first time in almost 10 years the other day :o
  • I just had to buy almost an entire new wardrobe (my poor bank account, though). Thankfully, I had a few pieces that are either free size skirts, or tops that look fine being loose, etc. But when my smallest jeans were sliding off my hips and my size had stayed steady at a point I'm happy with for a few months, I knew it…
  • A friend suggested I try pushups on my knuckles (I've got wrist issues from a fracture in one about 10 years ago) so I managed to do 17 or 18 today. 10 days ago, I could only do 8 (on my palms) before I almost fell on my face. It's not an impressive number, but I'm pleased. And I did some Zumba for the first time since my…
  • Lemons/lemon juice, sometimes mustard, most fresh herbs, green onions, celery, added salt or any other spices, cooking spray... Basically, anything with 0 calories or close to it, I don't bother with. I do log my coffee, though, for some reason. I think I logged it waaaay back when I first joined and was logging every…
  • I've got three right now: I'm about 10lb from my ultimate goal weight, 4lb from my birthday (6 weeks away) goal weight, and I can almost wear my smallest jeans again (they button and zip, but are a little too tight for comfort still).
  • People can add me, too :) I've got about 20 more pounds to lose, depending on how I feel the closer I get to that goal (so it could be anywhere from 15-25ish).
  • What kind of appliances do you have to work with?
  • Hi everyone  I've been gluten-free, mostly, for about 4 months. I got exposed a couple of times since then, but now I'm much stricter with what I eat and reading labels. I went GF after coming across a blog or article or something about it, and I remember reading it and relating to the symptoms the writer had…

  • I can get into clothes I haven't worn in 3 years! I dug them out of storage a few days ago to see how much more I'd need to lose to finally be that size again, and almost passed out from happiness when I tried them on. Now I'm only about a size away from my goal.
  • I just went back to being vegan in August  Whoever wants to can add me if you like. My diary isn't open, I don't think, but I rarely use it these days because my weight loss has been steady for several months now, but I wouldn't mind recipe-swapping.
  • Added :) Anyone can add me, too! I'm always happy to get new mfp friends.
  • I'm so in for this! I'm also hoping to lose about 40-50lb total, and I'm trying to get to my first goal (down 10lb) by my birthday in a couple of months.
  • Oh my gosh, I could rant about that hellish device for hours. It totally wrecked my body while I had it, but I won't go into all the issues I had and I'll just stick to the weight issue. Basically, I gained about 35lb while pregnant (preeclampsia) . By week 7 post partum, I'd lost about 25lb and that's when I got the…
  • Cool enough weather to work out without passing out :/
  • I had a yo-yo thing going on for years because I was dropping 2lb a week, pushing myself too hard, feeling "bad" for having a piece of chocolate, etc., then I'd totally fall off the wagon while trying to let an injury heal or something. This time, I'm more concerned with actually being healthier, not just dropping weight…
  • I'm 5'5" (I think...) and looking to lose at least 30 pounds. Anyone can add me if you like :)
  • Age: 26 Occupation: Epic failure and struggling writer? (I homeschool my kid and write when I find free time) College (alum/current student): Didn't get to finish, but I'm planning to go back to finish a psychology degree next year, hopefully Location: Southeastern US Fitness Goals: Being fit and toned again, and hopefully…
  • 26 mom of one here, feel free to add me
  • Hi everyone. I'm 25, fell off the wagon after a string of bad luck, but now that my broken arm is almost healed I'm trying to get back on track. I'm hoping to lose at least 35lb. Right now I'm working on getting my food situation fixed again, but I'll start working out after my arm is fully healed. Feel free to add me :)
  • As far as I know, pure maple syrup IS vegan friendly. Another option is agave nectar, which tends to taste a lot like honey in my experience (there are also flavored kinds, like blueberry, maple, etc.)
  • I'll take it almost any way, depending on how desperate I am lol. If things are ideal: I have somewhat freshly roasted beans, freshly ground and then prepared in a press. I almost exclusively drink dark roast, black. But, I do have a Vue and I like a few things I can make with it, and sometimes I'll add a flavored creamer…
  • We're really close. I only have one kid, but my stats: Age: 24 Height: 5' 4" Kids: one 5 year old HW: somewhere around 170-180, after pregnancy because of a health issue CW: 154lb GW: 130lb (which might go up or down a few pounds later on)
  • Hi everyone! I'm currently a SAHM, and homeschooling our 5 year old. When I got pregnant, I was around 130lb. I gained quite a lot of weight while pregnant (delivery day weight was 170lb), but within about 6 weeks, I was back down to between 140-145lb. Then, after I got the worst birth control ever (from my experience)…
  • I'm 24, have a 5 year old, and I wasn't very active on MFP until very recently when I found out a friend was on here. Now I'm trying to be more active. Anyone can add me, if you want to :)
  • Hi, I'm not new but I don't think I ever posted in the group after I joined (long story short, I wasn't on MFP for about a year immediately after joined the group). Height: 5ft 4in (ish) HW: 180lb CW: 154-ish lb GW: 130-ish lb I have one kid. Most of my workouts consist of yoga, Wii Fit Plus, Zumba, light weights use, and…
  • I want to try that! I saw it the last time I picked up a carton of almond milk, but I didn't get it because I wasn't sure how it would taste.
  • I adore Greek yogurt. I like it best as a fruit dip and in smoothies, but I have a few recipes I want to try it in soon. I have to to try it on a potato and as a veggie dip, I never thought of those.
  • Awww! Great job hun!
  • Wow! Amazing job! Thanks for sharing, I really needed a boost to keep me motivated. You rock!
