  • -Look up spaghetti squash recipes. They're always low in calories for such a big serving and very yummy ;) -Also try having a baked sweet potatoe and veggies for dinner. -Normal size BS chicken breast and veggies Just a few ideas :flowerforyou:
  • Track everything on your salad individually ;)
  • I know you can check foods off and delete them from the list right from that screen. But I'm not sure how to get more recent foods to stay. I think they automaticaly stay.
  • I am my biggest supporter foremost!!!! If you are not your biggest supporter I feel you are setting your self up to fail. You have to be your #1 biggest supporter before anyone else.
  • That goes for veggies as well BUT saute veggies is the best. You really don't lose any of the nutrients vs. boiling or steaming. Steaming is better then boiling. Do you ever notice that the water is slightly the color of the veggie you boil? All of your nutrients are in that water and most likly evaporated. I was told that…
  • Cooked fruit takes away all of the nutrients that you would get if eating fresh or raw.
  • I felt the same way about eating all of my calories when I don't even want to eat or are hungry. My diary is open to the public so feel free to take a look. I was having the same problem with sodium. I learned that A LOT of "light" or "fat free" foods are just loaded with sodium. Jus make sure you drink a ton of water. I…
  • You should really try to watch your sodium intake as well. Sodium plays a HUGE roll in losing weight. Will make you retain a TON of water.....
  • You should be careful with that too because salsa is loaded with sodium as well.
  • All of the light dressings especially the vinagerettes are EXTREAMLY high in sodium so you have to watch that as well. Not jus the calories.
  • I'm goin thru the same thing and haven't really seen a let up yet. But I did relize that I have dropped inches and have toned up a bit. So from what I understand, it could be that the muscle is/was taking place of the fat loss. IDK...... Something to consider. It's different for everyone. Good luck.

  • I've finished the 30 day shred and lost inches more then anything. I lost the weight I have before I started it but after the 30DS I lost pants sizes and toned a lot of areas such as my biceps, inner thighs, shoulders, and thighs!!!! I'm about to start it over on Monday and hope to see some more of those results.
  • What the hell...... I've already done it once but I will do it again with ya ;) Unless you want someone that has never done it to do it with you.
  • Stick to the program!!!! I was the same when I did the 30DS. Level one had my calves hurting by day 3 and level 2 had my hamstrings killing me by day 2. Jus stick with and don't skip ahead!!!!
  • If alcohol plays a major role in everyones everyday life jus don't make it a role in YOUR everyday life!!!!! Limit it, Drink ONE day on the weekend. • After you have finished the 30 day shred I suggest to move on to one of Jillian Michaels other workout DVD's. Jus so you don't get bored with it!!! I've heard a lot of good things about a few of her other DVD's. Good luck!!!
  • My opinion is...... According to the "US standards" of what THEY think we should be is REDICULOUS!!!! In my teens I was 170 and I am 5'7 and I felt and looked GREAT!!!! That is my goal weight again. US standards says I should be 135-159 and 160 I would be OBESE!!! Screw that. I say if you feel great and are confident with…
  • I never ate back my exercise calories and my body hit a plateau thinking it was in starvation mode!!!! Then only way to break thru that plateau was to eat back my calories......... You can wait till ur body hits that point or do it now. Cuz it's no fun and very discouraging being in a flippin 5 week plateau!!!!! Eat em…
  • LMAO!!! Yes, it is hard but for me it was like the 1st few day of level 1. Like OMG and sore for a couple of days. I am on day 9 of level 2 now and it is much much easier then day 1 level 2!!!! Lol.... Hang in there, you'll adjust!!!
  • I hit my 1st plateau after losing 24lbs. I JUST broke through I think by eating ALL of my recommended calories including my exercise calories. I am now watching my sodium intake as well. I was on a 5 week plateau and was SOOOO fusterated and really did want to give up but I did not!!! Before you kill your self at the gym…
  • YES!!!! 6 1/2 lbs weights might kill ya!!! I use the 3lb weights and my muscles burn in a good way!
  • Good luck...... My advise is to jus stick with it and work through the 1st few days of pain and don't sell your self short of the workouts. Blast thru them!!! I'm on day 18 level 2!!! Go for it!
  • Yes, it is possibel!!! I am 221lbs and am on day 18 level 2!!!! Each level I was sore for about 3 days then adjusted!!!! I do the moderate version of the exercises. There is an advanced girl to follow and a beginner girl to follow. It's not easy but you have to push thru is if you are committed to this weight loss journey.…
