Try to add some strength training in with your diet too add lean muscle to your physique. Being the lil bit that you are at 5', too cute, adding lean muscle with increase your metabolism.

Alot of elliptical machines do this, mine did the same thing. The best advice I can give is what I did and bout an ipod and just turned it up really loud. lol
