Good to hear you got on the right track with the OLD WW point system. A lot of people who are just stepping in are probably extremely confused why they are not losing weight if they are doing everything right! Yay! You're from Austin too :) Considering you will be in the sun all day, I would highly suggest that you take at least a few things that have some water in it, like Fruits! Apples, Oranges. Just chop them up and toss them in a bag so they are easy to eat when you pull them out! Water, maybe some Crystal Light if you need…

To be honest it took a long time to figure out, but Cardio seems to be the only thing that works for me. 2 months of strength work out resulted in me losing no inches or lbs. I love this stuff! I used to swear by it a few years ago. The only thing I would drink was Water and Vitamin water.

Anything i put into my mouth I always log, even if it means that it shows me going over in my calories (which is rare). I normally eat high calorie/high protein, low sodium during breakfast. Example: 100cal English Muffin w/ 1 egg, and maybe 1/2cup rice if I'm feeling extremely hungry.

When I was losing weight back in September I would shoot for 4-5days/week with 45mins-1 1/2hr workouts. Depending on how long you expect to work out you may need to do small intervals 6days a week, or large intervals 3-4x a week.

Depends what your body wants, and you won't know until you try. I tried out the whole 1200cal and my body wouldn't lose any weight (went between 197-194), then I kicked it up a notch, 1570cal a day and now I can lose weight! Again, just depends on what your body needs as an individual. Best of luck!

I tried eating 1200cal and my body was like "oh hellz no" even when exercising I couldn't lose any weight. So instead I went back, and said "lose 1lb" a week, which boosted me up to 1570cal a day - now I'm losing weight like crazy and keeping it off!! It feels great :) Best of luck!

That's ok, a lot of people drink TONS of water - but I can't because of my disease my body will retain water like no other. I constantly can feel bloated if I drink the normal 8-12 cups everyone else drinks. Different people, different experiences :)
