This is a fascinating video by michael pollen on how the supermarkets set us up to fail at our diets.

Take a look, it's absolutely true! I highly recommend watching this video and learning about the set up of the grocery store and how to avoid the temptations and the junk food isle.

stay to the outside of the store to get fresh stuff and only go into the aisles for other necessities. coffee, etc0

Wal-mart set out to be more healthy a few years back. They told their suppliers that if they didn't make their food more friendly that they would stop carrying them. That's why you find a lot of the Great Value (Wal-mart brand) labels to have lower calories, less fat and less sodium than most other labels in the same isle.
I'm a little thrown back and surprised (but happy) that when Wal-mart sets out to do something, they DO it.0 -
I love Michael Pollan. I have to watch this later!0
