I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but check out Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds. You walk in place with a few various steps and sometimes you incorporate hand weights, bands, etc depending on the video.

Thanks! I just got my labs mailed to me and the normal range is .35 to 6.0. Everything I've read is that the new normal is under 3.0. Hopefully I can get my Dr. to give me a referral. Thanks again!

I have to take the time to read everyones post but until then - AAAAAAAARGHHHH How frustrating!!!!! I feel your pain. My TSH was 1.41 last year and as of today it's 3.98. My doc wants me to come back in a month to retest. I started dieting in January and wanted to lose 20lbs by June. I haven't lost a F'N thing! I should…

Thank you OP for posting this!! I looked at my "zero calorie" cooking spray and lo and behold it has 9 calories per 1/4 second spray... I used that *kitten* all the time when I cooked, like a lot of it! I'm definitely going to cut back, thank you again!

Don't obsess about the scale. A few years ago I bought a crappy scale from Walmart about a month after I started to eat healthy. When I stepped on it, it was telling me a number that I swore I was under. I lost my mojo, was completely discouraged. Now at the beginning of the year I tried again, and sure enough that crappy…

I get the "guy code". If you've been to a bar and listened in on guys conversations, they almost all revolve around whatever chick they happen to be checking out, have checked out, want to hook up with or putting down their significant other and general complaining about her. Of course sports, work and general stuff is…

I'm 5'2 and I just checked and my BMR is 1579 .. I'm scared to eat that much.

Thank you. I might add - OP did you forget where you came from? Or did you hop on and take off the first handfull of times? Maybe they are new to the game and aren't used to walking on a moving floor.

Thanks!

I guess they would be an aquired taste. but I like them, and I like them even more because I can have a whole bag for only 40 calories. I saute a bunch of veggies and splash some balsamic on it - which makes my meal (a big bowl ful) 100 calories, give or take. To me they smell like bad mushrooms, but after I rinse them for…

Nothing. Bring something from home. Edited to add - if you want to eat healthy, it's best to scratch those places off of your list, except for a rare occasion as a treat.

But a shot of Amaretto and 151 set on fire dropped in a glass of beer and chugged REALLY does taste JUST like a Dr. Pepper. Flaming Faux Dr P

How do you guys handle it diet-wise? I'm on my second month of this and as of yesterday I feel I can eat a horse, it's really hard to hold back on the munching. I'm going to assume (and hope) that it goes away after all is said and done.

LMAO!

That's great! I hope to be as successful. Congrats again, and good luck!

Can I ask what your exercise routine is?

Them damn hoodies!! They should be burned once goal weight is reached! LOL (I LOL but I'm serious, I think that's what I'm going to do)

I will not miss starting arguments just to create an excuse to stay home I will not miss being pissed at myself for letting myself go I will not miss the huge clothes I try to hide under I will not miss avoiding the camera - my little boy should have as many pics of his moma as I do of him I will not miss the negativity I…

Congrats!! Those are my exact stats too.

He sees that you are serious, and he feels threatened so he had a tantrum and threw away your food. He wants to keep you fat.

I feel your pain. It's not nearly as bad as it was before I started watching what I ate, but it's still there. I'm probably doing it all wrong, but I'm a night owl so I eat breakfast at noon-ish, lunch anywhere from 3-6 then I eat dinner as late as possible. It's worked so far, no major climb-the-walls-starving mode.
