I CrossFit @ 5am Mon thru Fri. I don't eat before I go. I have C4. I do make sure I have a good dinner with some sweet potato though which helps fuel my 5am workout.

Did my total today: Back Squat: 215 Strict Press: 90 (darn shoulder) Deadlift: 265 Total: 570 Overall I am pretty happy with those numbers except the shoulder but I have an impingement or rotator cuff injury at the moment.

Just did thrusters and Burpees yesterday and it was hellish. I'm hopeful Dave decides not to go with that because it's what everyone predicts & he doesn't want people predicting the workouts.

It is not eating to 'celebrate' a workout. It is to replenish your glycogen stores so your body doesn't steal it from your muscles.

Good advise...until you said something about getting bulky. You will not get bulky lifting heavy weights unless you TRY to. I lift heavy 5-6 days per week and I am getting leaner, building LBM (lean body mass) and reducing BF (body fat).

Google Jason Kalipia hand tape and there is a video on how he tapes them and it works well but you will also need to keep them shaved down.

If you improve your snatch technique then you will also improve your clean technique because so many people miss the high pull. Also it will improve your front squat, over head squat... I would start with 20% since your % of body fat is on the higher end. When you plateau for a couple of weeks, I would change it to 15% Then when it plateau again (you will) I would change it to 10% Give it a full 2 week plateau before changing it up.
