I always add a little milk to the flour to make a paste. Never any lumps. I've tried the butter, add flour thing but I've always had to beat the heck out of it with a whisk to get "most" of the lumps out.

This is my experience as well. I eat celery and cabbage in many different things. And I have a new-found love for soups and chili. When I'm hungry and want to eat the entire refrigerator, I eat a huge wedge of watermelon or a cup of soup.

A kitchenaid stand mixer is on my wish list. You can make many healthy things with it as well. First people blame fast food for obesity and now kitchen appliances? So much for accountability I guess lol
-
Lmao@ your title. I like you already ha-ha. You may add me if you want. Damn, now I want some ding dongs lol
-
Yeah, it has to be your scale sha. No way you can gain 10 lbs overnight.
-
You're welcome to add me if you want... I enjoy responding to posts of my friends. It helps to keep me motivated. Good luck!!

I make my own whole wheat crusts for personal sized pizzas. I've found that if u sprinkle grated parmesan on the tomato sauce, it keeps from needing too much cheese on top. I use to use about 2-3 oz of cheese and now 1 oz is enough for me. And load up on the veggies ;-)

It can be weighed raw or cooked, just make sure you select a cooked chicken breast entry. And just to eyeball i'd say that's 4oz or very very close.

Soups and watermelon

I always use 2 cups of brown rice, 3 cups of water and add 2 tbsp of chicken seasoning.I also like adding cayenne pepper to give it an extra kick. But I also cook it in a rice cooker.

I took it for over a year at 200mg per day. I gained about 40 lbs while on it. Good luck with losing weight. It also made me insulin resistant.
-
Lol you and me both
-
Awesome thank you for replying. White vs. Dark would be so much easier, thank you!!

So to clarify, separate entries for leg, breast, thigh etc... That's what I wondered thank you!! Eta - I do weigh all foods

Chicken, pork chops, turkey, lean ground beef, steak, ribs, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn, mixed veggies, California mix, potatoes, sweet potatoes, eggs, milk, cheese and yogurt.
-
I just bought a cuisinart rotisserie and was wondering, how do you log the chicken in MFP exactly? I saw a few whole chicken entries but they were all over the charts.
-
Thanks for posting this... I've never weighed my Tortillas. I'm going to start weighing everything from now on. ;-)
-
Luckily I never had that issue. I can't eat or drink anything that someone else has eaten/drank from. Just can't do it. I do not like reheated leftovers from takeout or restaurants either, it is definitely the texture that bugs me lol

Digital for sure... They are very sensitive, so you might want to keep it put away to keep the kiddos from playing with it. One good drop and they're toast calibration wise.

I like adding cream cheese to my potatoes.

Although I am eating healthier foods, I do eat what I want when I want. I either make them lower calorie or just make them fit into my calorie goal. The most important thing that's different this time, is that I realize this is how I am going to eat from now on. That this isn't a diet that I'm going to quit once I reach my…

No, its a food delivery service basically.

I used it for a month. Over 300 dollars plus you had to buy vegetables about another 100 dollars. The food was dreadful, I couldn't give it away. It ended up in the trash.

It seems to me, that if MFP would give us the option of hiding user submitted entries, it would make life so much easier (with an option to see your own of course). I don't know if you can do that on the site, but I can't on the Android app.

So long story short, he cooked your dinner and it pissed you off? Then someone ate your meal you were saving. Heck, I wish my partner would cook a meal for me for when I got off work. I am just SMH at this entire post.
-
I had the same problem in the past. When you are finally determined come hell or high water that you want to do this, you will. Most people on here have given it several tries. Forget about the past, and just dedicate yourself 100% to not quit this time around. You got this ;-)

Another thing that helps me, is I keep a list of the weights (grams) off all my bowls and pots and pans. That way I can put the entire pot on the scale and subtract the pot weight. Then i know how many grams are in the entire recipe. Then just enter grams that you consume. I taped my list to the back of my cupboard door.…
