Lookin' good!

I just joined yesterday, so I've only got two sessions under my belt, but I love it so far. My problem with designing my own workout regimen is that I get obsessive and burn myself out. At Koko, the computer determines everything for you based on your initial fitness assessment and your goals, so you don't have to…

I love this thread. I'll have to try some of these others now!

I also try to get the most "bang for my buck" with the foods I eat. I try to eat a lot of fiber, protein, healthy fats (ie., not saturated or trans), and carbs from whole grains/fruits/veggies/legumes. I've slightly changed the way I eat some of my favorite foods. For example, I eat whole wheat pancakes instead of…

When I set my weekly weight loss goal too high (1 lb or more per week), MFP also recommended around 1200 net calories per day. I was miserable and I could tell my body needed more fuel, so I upped my daily net goal to 1450. Because I exercise a lot, I actually end up eating a total of 1650-2000 calories per day, but I try…

I see your dog and raise you a cheeky kitteh: Also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjnklAMt-_c

Thank you, thank you, thank you. :flowerforyou: You saved that kitten's life. Bless you!

Update?

Hmmm. Guess I'm in the minority, because I don't give a **** if I'm hairy before an appointment, as long as I'm clean. I only trim anyway, because I have no desire to look like a prepubescent girl. Also, RAZOR BURN! Ouch. Seriously...it's just hair. ETA: I do put my skivvies between my other clothes, but it's because I'm…

Even better than the "cat milk" is something called Kitten Milk Replacement. It's formula for kittens. Pet stores in my area sell it; try Petsmart or Petco. Best of luck!
-
Keep it warm and take it to a vet ASAP! Young kittens can die from cold very easily (as in, even from a cold tile floor). Bless you for rescuing him/her!

Like.
-
Hahaha, I totally do this. :D
-
...you truly eat only one "serving" of Cadbury Mini-Eggs. :(
-
Word. You have been one of MY inspirations on MFP for this very reason.
-
LMAO! :drinker:
-
ALSO: None of the pics I've seen on MFP has struck ME as being suggestive or sexual. Hmmm...

"X-rated"? "Porn"? Seriously? For a bikini or bra pic? How else are women supposed to show how far they've come in their fitness goals? Men can take shirtless photos without getting any grief. It's perfectly acceptable for a woman to take a picture in her bathing suit or bra to show decreased fat and/or increased muscle…

Also, remember that if you've been remaining within your calorie limits most of the time, there's no way that that's real weight gain. It's just fluids.

I always weigh more during my period. I just ignore what the scale says that week, because the next week I see a drop of several pounds. Nothing to worry about. :)

Burn Intervals is a beast! My HRM said I burned 484 calories when I did it last week. I have a love/hate relationship with that workout! ;)

Gender: Female Age: 28 Height: 5'4"-ish SW: 169 CW: 163.4 GW: 130 (or whatever I am once I reach size 4/6) NSV goals: "healthy" BMI, increase ratio of lean muscle mass to fat, get down to size 4 (or 6 if 4 is unrealistic...but I was 4 in my teens and early twenties), run a mile without stopping, make my triceps visible,…

Ohh! I want to play! I just completed Burn week 1. I LOVE this program so far. It kicks my a**, but I can already feel more firmness and definition (underneath the fat...lol). The last time I lost weight, I really neglected strength training and focused primarily on burning as many calories as possible and losing…

P.S. To respond to those who are saying that you're reporting your activity level incorrectly: that may be true (I have no idea how active you are, what you reported as your activity level, or whether you log your exercise), but I correctly reported my activity level (Sedentary--I have a desk job and I drive to work) and I…

MFP recommends a daily caloric intake that is way too low for me as well. When I put in my information and told it I wanted to lose 1 pound a week, it recommended a daily caloric intake that caused me to lose around 2 pounds per week (and I always eat back my exercise calories). Sure, it was nice to be able to say I had…

Don't be embarrassed; we all have bladders! But if I were you, I would see a doctor about that particular problem.
-
I've lost about 18 pounds and I'm still in the same size. :grumble: I am finally down a belt loop, though. Don't get discouraged!
-
Wow! I definitely see it, especially in your neck/chin, stomach, arms, and thighs! I guess you don't see it because you see yourself every day in the mirror, so the changes are gradual. (I've lost around 18 pounds but I don't see any difference in myself even though my fiance does.) But even if you don't see it yourself,…

I love this.

Exactly!
