I don't see many that are distasteful at all either. This is a FITNESS site. Where we show our BODIES. I know it is an odd concept
Not to attract a mate or anything o.O to show progress and how far we have come.0 -
On here I wanted to show my stomach because of how hard I've worked. I don't think it's wrong to do so as long as it's not like bra and underwear or side boob going on. lol0

I like it0

More *kitten*, the merrier.0

I'm all for it!
As am I. And really, who could complain about that ^^??0 -
New MFP posting requirements:0

They're not dirty or anything. It's just people showing off what they worked so hard for.0

Seriously ??? What about the sisterhood and celebrating being female ?? If someone wants to show off their form then good luck to them. I think most people are here to achieve greatness and a physique they are proud of. I have never seen anything pornographic on here. Just girls who are proud of where they are on their journey.0

I don't have much T, but I'm really proud of my A because it's something I've worked really hard on.
I applaud those who show some skin in their photos, because it's they tend to be the ones I use as role models for how to eat and exercise. Anyone can look good fully clothed.
Besides, what shows my progress better? In June 2011, I was 135#. In January/February 2012, I was around 133#.

^^This photo is from your own profile...is it not contradicting everything you said??
FAIL! :flowerforyou:
So this is another bash on the OP thread? Sweet! We don't get much of those lately.0 -
I think the women who complain are jealous and small people inside.
OR a prude.
I'm not offended by the female body. I have one.0 -
Or maybe, JUST maybe she's showing off her hard work.
This... if you don't like, don't look. comes across that you are wildly jealous, so much so you felt compelled to write it.
PS people aren't going to stop posting them! if she wants attention, let her! You clearly don't and that's fine! Each to their own!0 -
Whatever porn you're watching sucks. You may wish to research it more.
LMAO! :drinker:0 -

I think they are brilliant they're motivational, inspirational and show off hard work that cant always be seen fully clothed ( abs, muscle definition etc) they are easy enough to avoid if you dont want to see them so just dont look. and also i think you are over-generalising. the men do it just as much as the women. i wish i had the comfidence to post pics up like that. People deserve to get praise for all their hard work. not complained at for how many clothes they choose to show their success in.

I'm pretty sure posting the fact that the OP herself has a "half-naked bikini" picture was not bashing her, just questioning why it's okay for her but no one else?0 -
This website is for motivation and inspiration, not really for people making them feel bad for being proud of what they have accomplished! Bra/panties and swim suits are not offensive. Go on the VS website and I'm sure you will see just as much if not more skin!0

yep hardwork! I will be taking my top off in 20LBS time. I might even remove my bra...
Take it OFF!!0 -
I am all in favor of allowing nakedness.0
