What do you think of girls that post up half naked pictures

I wouldn't even be bothered by photographs of naked people, it's the human body, not something intrinsically evil, get over it!
This whole site is about creating healthy fit bodies, so why could it possibly be wrong to post images of precisely that?0 -
I think they're confident and proud of the work they've done to look like that.
I think the women who complain are jealous and small people inside.
I think anyone complaining about seeing the human body on a weightloss site is nuts and should just deactivate now.
Okay.. Agree.. When do we get to see some of your skin ??? lol0 -
There are pics that show hard work which are awesome.. then there are pics that just show T&A.
^^^^This
<
A fine example of the latter... HOLLA! :drinker: :drinker:0 -
what do I think? That they want to showcase all of the hardwork they've put into getting where they are now and that they are happy/proud.0
-
Or maybe, JUST maybe she's showing off her hard work.
Correct0 -
I think that to a certain point its ok, i mean u can tell the difference between pics where they are just showing themselves and then pics that are showing there weightloss...
i saw a pic on here the other day where the girl had no shirt no bra and her hands were covering her breast, but you could tell she was just showing her weightloss, not flaunting it all over the place just because she can.
So u can tell a difference, ,most pics on here i see are weightloss pics so it doesnt bother me.0 -

Totally OK here; if you have it, flaunt it (male or female!) It gives those of us who need it . . . some inspiration. If you look great, be proud; you worked hard to get there! I hope to have a bikini pic posted this summer myself after I get where I want to be. Bring it on!0

Okay and how is it different than a swimsuit? I don't own one, so I took a picture in a bra and some boy short underwear
Does this offend you? Was this kind of stuff only meant for mature websites? I think not.
YOU LOOK FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

Is this the real Brett?
Last I checked, not one person was born fully clothed, and not one child enjoys having clothes on more than taking them off. Therefore, I find it perfectly natural to show of the human body. Society tries to dictate, especially according to our puritanical ways, but I choose to show whatever I feel comfortable showing on any given day. If they're comfortable with it, and not pretending they have someone else's body, then I have no complaints. Besides, breasts are beautiful.0 -
maybe they are proud of how far they've come - this website isnt really for children - stop being a prude.
also they are WOMEN not GIRLS, stop hating on your fellow females for being proud of who they are - that kind of woman-on-woman bashing isn't helping anyone.
arent you kind of summing up your jealousy by saying that they just want attention from the guys? that's the kind of insult i heard on the playground when i was 16..
I love you.0 -
Having been one of those "women" who posted a pic of my stomach. I didn't do it for attention from guys, or girls for that matter. Farthest thing from my mind. I did it because A. I was proud of myself and B. to give myself a reminder of how far I have come and how much more work I want to do.
This is a fitness website that is helping people change the way the look and feel about themselves both physically and mentally. If you cannot see a picture of someones stomach and not get offended then you are in the wrong place! My personal opinion being, if you don't want to see my picture, then don't look at it.0 -
Good for them. Confidence like that can be harder to achieve than weightloss.
Get it, girls.
I agree. I'm pretty hard to offend. Plus, I'm really envious, and it motivates me to work that much harder at it.0 -
I don't see a problem with it. As long as they aren't naked and flaunting their boobs and genitals, why should it matter? A woman has the right to feel proud of herself. What is the point in losing weight/toning up if you can't show it off? Like the saying goes, "if you've got it, flaunt it."0

this is my favorite! I still think a back shot with your flex on is necessary you have worked so hard!0 -
I am very appreciative of those pictures. They are showing off their hard work, and I for one appreciate their efforts.0
-
I personally do not care how much skin you show. Especially if you have a great body and want to show off your hard work. Go for it! That being said, I think pic in underwear are a little weird. I don't know why it is to me. It's not showing anything more than a bikini. I guess it's because a bikini is meant to be seen pubicly and your underwear is not.0
-
Do you find the shirtless dudes tasteless and offensive too?
haha I definitly dont....
I think as long as you aren't all out porn posing you can show what you worked hard for! No one just GETS the kind of body OP is talking about unless they've put in the effort. and when I've got it Im SHOWIN it! properly of course...0 -
The human form, to be seen in pictures on a fitness site?
What fresh hell could possibly be next?!
MFP, being a fitness site - is probably one of the best places for girls to post up *half* nekid pix of themselves, especially if they have worked hard while on MFP or otherwise to become fit.
key word *half* nekid.
completely nekid, i would suggest saving those pix for personal collections or posting to a paid site, ladies - don't be so quick to give away the goods for free! ^_^0 -
I can't wait until I feel comfortable doing this. Maybe you should not be so obesessed with looking at the pics. I am here to concentrate on my own healthiness, support friends, and often get some laughs. If you are so worried about what everyone else has as a personal choice, get a life of your own0

my opinion: I think it's great that ppl show off their hard work. IN the 5 months I've been on here, I've never been offended by any of the pics or found them distasteful. Even the ones with just underwear and bras. I find it inspiring that ppl have the confidence to show off their hard work. I think because this IS a weight loss site it's perfectly acceptable, especially after you see the long road it took to get there with their before pics.0
-
Honestly, that they're starving for attention. There are pics that show hard work which are awesome.. then there are pics that just show T&A.
are you implying that I didn't work hard for my T&A? My @$$ is one of my finest fitness achievements right now (ok its on its way to it anyway). You don't get to turn a flat saggy asian butt into a perky cute one without working hard for it.0 -
Tells me they're proud of their hardwork and are confident enough to show it. Why would you work your butt off to get the body you want and not be proud? It's better than being a hater.0
-
that's the kind of insult i heard on the playground when i was 16..
What were you doing on the playground at 16?
As to the half naked pics, more please. Thank you.0 -

OMG is that a belly button?! MY EYES!0 -
as long as nips are covered - no problem... And I think they do it to show off hard work - but at the same time - I think they also do it for the attention.
I posted a flex arm pic for both0 -
^^This photo is from your own profile...is it not contradicting everything you said??0 -
Nothing wrong with being confident and showing off your hard work.0
-
Do you find the shirtless dudes tasteless and offensive too?
^ I second this question.
I third it. I am honestly very curious!
YES! lets not have a double standard here.0 -
I have to admit my first reaction is to role my eyes and call them a "slut". But this is sooooo wrong! I don't know anything about them and have no business judging them. Besides, if Im totally honest, it only ticks me off because Im jealous that I dont look that good! (YET!!! lol) If I DID have their bodies Im pretty sure I would be posting pics too! I mean, they probably worked their butts off (literally!) to look like that and they have the right to be proud of it. If Im having a bad day and feeling bad about myself I tend to be way more judgemental than if Im feeling good about myself. Maybe the problem isnt them...maybe its the way you feel about yourself! Just my opinion....:flowerforyou:0
