I get the same. People always expect something more drastic like going to the gym every day and eating nothing bad. They don't realise that watching what you eat can make such a difference.

Hey! Im 21, 5"7 and 142lbs. I've got 12lbs to go until I hit my goal weight. I've had 2 children and was around 182lbs at my heaviest. I eat 1500-1600 cals a day which is just right for me but everyone is different!

Well done! This may sound silly but you could try running in the snow. You won't get far but your heart rate will be up in no time and you'll sweat buckets! Both of which are a good sign! Good luck with your journey! Feel free to add me ????

Sounds like your doing great! I personally found that my weight loss stalled when I started lifting. I found going back to lower weights and more reps helped me keeps losing weight without losing any muscle. And of course, cardio is key! :)
-
To build lean muscle mass no. But for your general health cardio is a necessity. Even if it's just 10 mins a day it will help keep your body healthy. I'm with you, I hate cardio but it needs to be done.

How is everyone getting on? I've not noticed any difference but my diet has been very questionable so I know I've only got myself to blame! Is it just me or is Jillian's voice extremely grating?!

It's no were near as intense as I thought it would be (I love watching the biggest loser so expected it to be a bit like that) I get easily distracted too. I do shift work so I'll find any excuse not to do it :/ Going to make sure I stick to this and keep up with my protein intake because I have plateaud for the last few…

Your eating too little so your body is holding on to your fat stores so that it doesnt starve. Up your calories, give your body at least 2 weeks to adjust then you should start to see a gradual weight loss. Im speaking from personal experience: i was eating 1100 and ended up gaining a pound or two in the first month. I…

Ive been skipping the gym due to the heat. Working out in this heat makes me feel sick (i overheat really easily anyway!) Try taking a bottle of partly frozen water with you to help you stay hydrated and cool :)

I agree with taking your measurements as well as weighing and you could be changing shape. What is your calorie deficit like? Have you calculated your BMR and TDEE? I was static for my first two weeks on here and lost 0.8lb last week. It takes a while for your body to catch up with what your doing. Hang in there…

General awesomeness. Yeah...
-
Increase cardio but stick with the strength training to help tone and shape :)
