I'd be interested in this too, but can't seem to find it.

I'm 52 and started running 2 1/2 years ago. I started out doing 5k's, then signed up for a 15k. After completing that, still standing upright, I signed up for a Half Marathon in November of 2010. I pretty much laid off running in 2011 and started packing on the weight. Early this year (maybe in a moment of weakness), I…

I try to do at least 2 - 3 to 4 mile runs a week, but really go for 3 per week. I do other cardio excercises (kick boxing, ellitptical, etc) on off days.

Ok, I started in January at 162 with a goal of 140. I'm now at 142 so getting close. My goal by July 4 will be to reach that 140 mark and have my body fat at 14% or less.

Well, I too want to join in on the thread. I had my body fat measured in July of '09 at 24.3%. It really hit me hard. January 8th, I joined MFP and committed to getting into shape. I started alternating days between weight training and running. The running was really hard for me, but after I quit watching the clock, it got…

I recently read that Pistachios are one of the best nuts to eat. Here is a quote from an article "Try snacking on a serving of pistachios. They’re one of the lowest calorie, lowest fat, highest fiber nuts. Plus, a serving of pistachios gives you 49 kernels! That’s the biggest, most satisfying serving of any nut." I also…

I try to go online, assuming that I know where I'm going to eat, and determine based on the calories that I have left, or will have left after exercising, what I will eat when I get there. Saves a lot of agonizing when I get there.

I have Cheerios with skim milk and fresh strawberries and blueberries.

We met on a blind date. A neighbor of mine worked with Deanna, who was on an internship, and thought we would get along. I was an hour late getting to the meeting place, due to work demands (this was before the days of cell phones, so I couldn't get hold of them). But, they were still there waiting. We talked for a couple…

My wife always gets me a box of white fudge covered Oreo's for Christmas. I haven't even opened them yet. Talk about control!!! They are 100 calories per cookie.

My daughter is a girl scout. We have 21 boxes of cookies in the freezer.

For some reason, it isn't considered cardiovascular exercise. You can add an entry in the cardiovascular section and put in how much time you spend weight training and it will give you calories.

My wife makes an pizza with olive oil, garlic, chicken, artichoke hearts, bacon bits (small amount) and Mozzarella. She puts the spinach on raw and it's amazingly delicious.

Man, you look incredible! Talk about incentive!!

Thanks for the inspiration. I'm running my first 5k in 3 weeks. I'm almost 50. My time today (treadmill) was 29:55, the best so far. I really need to get running outside, because I know it will be very different. I too am a new runner.

You're such a good motivator.

I've wondered the same thing. My Brother-in-law's Cardiologist told him that he should drink 2 glasses of wine per evening. I've been taking full advantage of the, but may have to reconsider.

I shoveled snow for about an hour one day and actually went online and searched for calories burned while shoveling snow. My gym was closed that day, so it was my workout for that day.

If I'm gonna get my day's worth, I'd better get crackin' opening those bottles of red wine!!

Yeah, there are lots of people living in Oklahoma. LOL Tulsa, here.
