FANTASTIC job! And I love the "after" picture with kids chasing each other in front of you. Proof that you accomplished this while being a BUSY mom! Congrats!

WELL DONE!!!!! I just completed my first Spartan Race last week (in Colorado Springs). Like you, I was training for it for awhile, but then about 8 weeks before I just quit. Mainly because I was chicken. But my kids were running in the Jr. Spartan Race, so we had to go anyway. It was fantastic to watch them run! When I got…

I agree! I had lost motivation and have just been maintaining for 3 months. I'm starting by beginning to log again and get into the habit of it again. I've also cut out soda and sugary baked goods. I've been struggling this weekend with eating bigger portions and eating chips......so the scale obviously hasn't…

Well, I am very happy to meet all of you. I haven't read through all the posts since I am running out the door soon. I have lost 30 pounds, and have about 50 more to go. I have basically been maintaining since December. I would love to get included in a group that lights my fire again! Just by reading some of the above…

I'm 5' 4" SW: 200.0 CW: 171.6 GW: 125-135.....not sure. It will depend on how I look when I get there. I originally thought 125, but my sister-in-law recently lost a ton of weight and she stopped at 135 and looks fabulous! She is the same height as me, but we have different builds. I will reassess at 135.

LOL! That was funny! Great job, by the way!

I went window shopping the other day (that's my version of trying on clothes, but not buying anything for the day). I haven't done this since summer time. I kept drifting to my old sizes and then realizing.....OH WAIT! I don't fit in these any more! And then skip happily down the rack to the sizes that were two sizes…

I am a swimmer and I bought a suit that was one size too small for me about a month ago. (I do this so I don't have to buy them so often while I am losing.) They are expensive and having them a little snug helps motivate me! I put my suit on this morning and everything tucked into the suit where it was supposed to! YAY!…

It always makes me sad when I hear people talk like this......Yes, there will be some effort, yes you will sweat, yes you will be short of breath......for a little while. Then the rest of your day takes on a whole new shine! I have pretty much come to the conclusion that I can exercise every day for a minimum of 30…

Is there a way we can suggest this to the people who mange this website?
-
Well, for those of you who sweat profusely, and can't control it.......maybe you should look at it in a different light. You have ROCKING metabolisms!!! It takes energy to create that much heat! I'll bet you have the ability to drop weight faster than most people because your furnace is ALWAYS on! My husband is that way…

YEPPERS! I can see it!

You are doing fantastic! I just left the 190's recently as well! Started at 200.0, like you and this morning I weighed in at 188.2! I have been at this journey for 3 months now.....but this time I am seeing it through to the end! Congrats on your loss! I'm in your corner!
-
That is so great! This is one of the reasons why I love this site! Huge Congrats to you! I have a gentle question for you. I just met someone at a barbecue last night and he is most likely somewhere in the 450 pound range.....very funny, very upbeat, but it was like he was chomping at the bit to poke fun at himself before…

I am blown away by your transformation, but more by your heart! Thank you so much for the encouragement! It doesn't matter if I am chosen or not. I just wanted you to know that you are be~you~tiful! Thanks for warming my heart!

I can see a HUGE difference! Well done!

What a great attitude! Thanks so much for sharing! I loved how you calculated how far you have walked. I try to walk 3-4 miles several times a week. I think I will start keeping track of those miles! Everything adds up!

I'd be happy to add you! We are all in each other's corners! Keep up the good work!
