  • Thank you for ALL the replies!! I am on day 2 right now. I snapped on my husband over something very petty last night and then felt tears rush to my eyes when I realized how irrational I was being... can you say HORMONES !! lol I was on the ring before... so I am looking forward to not having to worry about doing anything…
  • Wow! Thanks for all the replies so far! Keep them coming, and if you don't mind, I want to know if it messed up your "libido"... you can always message me if you want, or not answer at all.. just curious :)
  • I lose weight and still eat fast food ( Burger King and Taco Bell ) smaller portions of course... its all about calories in< calories out... its not healthy, but im not going to preach to you :) I posted a topic like this a couple days ago if you want to check it out !
  • I don't like the curry here either or the Ramen lol... I like some sushi though, but goodness I gain 3-4 lbs in water weight the following day , then drink a bunch of green tea and flush it out the next day :) I do cook for myself often, just not at lunch time, unless I want to eat left overs from dinner the day before.…
  • I only have 5 more lbs to lose until I am a at a healthy 135 lbs. I guess I was exaggerating when I say everyday... more like 2-3 MAYBE 4 times a week at lunch, and I always end up staying under my calorie goal. I cook breakfast and dinner for myself. Like today I had a whopper jr. with cheese, a small fry, and a diet…
  • Oh trust me I eat all the good stuff! But at lunch it's hard to venture off base and make it back in my one hour lunch time. But the sodium is outrageous in the sushi! And I retain water like a sponge! The japanese eat lots of sodium, but all the green tea they drink helps flush their systems, I drink green tea, but not as…
  • I live in Japan on a military base, so the options I have are: Pizza Hut, Wing Street, A&W, Charlees, Taco Bell, Baskin Robins, Subway, Cinnabon, Anthony's pizza, and Burger King. I usually go with BK :) Bc thats about one of the only places where I can feel FULL on 500-800 calories
  • I try and keep it to 600-800 calories for lunch.. and then do chicken and veggies for dinner... I would say I eat healthy most of the time.. just at lunch I fudge a little :)
  • haha! I am stationed in Japan.. so its a military APO/FPO.. I couldn't figure out how to type in my city where I am in Japan. But I am originally from Terre Haute!
  • And before any posts this, " I KNOW IT'S NOT GOOD FOR ME"... but I just want to know of other people who have lost weight while eating fast food. I am well aware of the long term affects of eating fast food on an almost daily basis.
  • Thanks everyone , I guess I am only counting calories so I'm good. I know if I get excess sodium I gain water weight , but thats it.
  • Thanks everyone, I do the weight training on tuesday and thursdays at 0500-0600....and cardio is mon-wed-fri.... my personal trainer kicks my butt, but my eating is what gets in the way the most.. my husband always wants to eat out.. and we live in japan so its always good yummy food! I hope this is easy!!
  • Taco bell.. I swear whenever I go there, I order one of everything and binge. My husband asks how I can eat that much, and my stomach not explode. I think last time I got a mexican pizza, 2 baja chalupas, nachos and cheese, and taco rice ( its rice with taco toppings, I'm stationed in japan :) ).. oh yeah and a carmel…
  • my husband will bake breads and cakes and brownies with frosting and BEG me to try it.. i tell him to go **** himself and no lol its never a mean go **** yourself, just a humourous one. I have had to work really hard to say no, he can eat what he wants and his metabolism is very forgiving where as mine is not. It's hard,…
  • I know that sounded like a crazy ( obvious ) question, but I felt so calm while I was doing the yoga that I thought, my heart rate feels slow.. I am used to doing at least 30 minutes where my heart rate is mid 160- 170s..so this was definitely a change.. i felt guilty adding them to my calories burned because i felt super…

  • yep! i just wiggle them and it goes away.. i kinda clench my toes subconciously while running and doing the elliptical... sucks
  • I ran this morning in the awesome humidity :noway: and mid run I got that rumble again.. but this time I turned out A-okay  I personally think for me that heat mixed with dehyrdation is what causes it. I was talkin to a few of my military men who are runners also about this and one of them goes " oh you mean when…
  • I don't think that the couch to 5k would really help me at all. You see, a 5k early in the morning is normal for me. I am military and a 5K isn't a challenge at all. It's what we do for PT on the regular. I even run 5 miles on the weekends sometimes just to clear my mind. I think that for my issue, it was the fact that I…
  • Thank you for the awesome ideas! They all sound delish, I will have to try them . This will make things easier for me , because my husband loves fish, I just can't stomach the taste. Your advice sounds like it could really help!
  • running is awesome and I have only had this happen maybe 3 times my whole life... please don't let this discourage you ...
  • Nope nothing spicy.. but I didn't even think about being dehydrated.. i drink lots of water but i just recently started drinkin coffee at nights and i know that its a natural laxitive AND a diruetic..hmmmm
  • no pregnancy, the hubby is deployed right now... has been for almost 6 months.. I have gotten like this from running before.. I just need to figure out how to prevent it.. ive never been like this from something ive eaten.. i tend to have a cast iron stomach and nothing really upsets it... thanks for the replies though...
  • Dry !! :)
  • Offering prayers and support... add me as a friend if you want ! I'll try to be a good motivator!
  • To clarify my "reverse muffin top" haha... its right under my breast where I have a small pooch... unlike most people who have a pooch below the belt, I have mine wayyy above it... its like a roll, haha kinda gross explaining it :)
  • Dr. Oz did a show on them and it seems that they are hereditary. There is not much you can do but wear good shoes and watch your sodium intake. I have like a reverse muffin top ( its right under my boobs instead of below my gut ) and I am 146 lbs.. i had it even when i was skinny, its like a crease that won't go away!!…
  • Thanks so much for that bit of info!
  • I used to be in your shoes. I know this is not an option for most people but I had a reduction. My bilateral breast reduction was the best hting that ever happened. I used to have to wear 2 sports bras and even still I was emabarresed to run in front of ppl... Just get some really good sports bras that are NOT the kind you…
