This is a good discussion! Ultimately, it comes down to what works for you. I'll tell you a little about my story, in case it helps you figure out yours. I started my weight loss journey 3 years ago. It took me 1.5 yrs to lose 125 lbs. I've been maintaining for the last 1.5 yrs. At first it was rather effortless to just…

Congratulations on your success, and may you have much more in the future! I find your story inspiring. I relate very much to it. In fact, my first thought about your pics was that it could be me. I've enjoyed some success so far, and am hoping for more as well. I've lost 117 lbs, and would like to lose another 48. Almost…

Happy, happy birthday to you! Today's my birthday too! Birthday buddies! You look amazing, and I admire your success. I also love hiking, but haven't really tried trail running. You're so inspiring!

I'm 5'6-7", started at 315, and am currently 205, so 110lbs lost so far. I'm still working on it, and have 55 more lbs to lose.

You are gorgeous! And congrats on your hard work! Wow!

Hi there! Welcome! I, too, have PCOS. I've been on a LCHF diet since 27 June 2017, and have lost 83 lbs so far. I'm halfway to my goal. I started out with similar numbers to yours, and my ultimate goal weight is 150 (I'm 5'6"). I've tried a myriad of approaches to weight loss over the years. I've lost and gained the same…

I'm trying to get healthy, again, too. As far as meals go it's really all about what you like. I find that if I plan for my meals on Saturday or Sunday, and do all of my shopping on that day as well then the rest of my week goes smoothly. I'm a sandwich for lunch kind of girl. My typical is turkey, cheese, and lettuce on…

Congrats! You've hit a milestone I'm looking forward to: having your boobs sick out further than your stomach. You've obviously worked hard to get where you are, and it shows. You look great!

If you're looking for ideas, my dinner tonight was yummy! I had baked cod with butter, lemon and garlic, buckwheat groats, and sautéed veggies (carrots, celery, and onion) with some yummy garlic seasoning. It was delicious, and very low calorie - so I had seconds! Truly, what was said already about sticking with your…

Hey, I understand that you were offended by the commentary. But please understand that this is an open forum. A person is only able to comment on any details of your marriage if you offer up those details in the first place. Everyone comes from a different background, and therefore an understandably different worldview. I…

Of course we're trolling through our friends' food diaries. That's one of the points in having friends on MFP! I like to get yummy food ideas from others, especially when I'm feeling in a food rut.

Congrats!! I very much look forward to this with my continued weight loss. It's been a long time since I've comfortably sat with my legs crossed at the knee.

I'm so glad that you had a positive shopping experience. I LOVE Torrid! They're sometimes a little pricy, but they have lots of sales, so it's a fun place to shop.

Congratulations on your succes, and I wish you more in the future. I think you're an amazing person to overcome your difficulties. I can relate to the medication issues. It's very difficult to find something that works, and sometimes it's even harder to find a dr that is not a quack.

Hello, I think that there is a huge potential for negative consequences from the diet pill industry. This is based on the fact that diet pills fall under the health supplement rules/regulations, and as such are UNregulated by the FDA. This means that the companies can virtually put anything into their products. Many of…

I can very much relate to this. With 122 lbs left to lose it can feel like a FAR off dream. But I try to focus on my daily and weekly goals and keep on plodding.

I am so in! I haven't had any kids, but I'm still obese and out of shape. I'm changing that more and more though. I am determined that my 30s will be so much better than my 20s. I am definitely in a better space mentally and emotionally.

Thank you for sharing your story. You really are an incredible inspiration for others to transform their lives as well. I am especially hear about you cleaning out the trash not only in your diet, but in your mind and spirit as well. Also, I think you're incredibly adorable, and have awesome tats! You remind me of Abby…

Thank you for articulating this so eloquently.

I very much agree that you should vent on all their corporate pages, google reviews, BBB, etc. This company needs to know that it's not okay to treat customers this way. If this man was a manager, then he should be fired. Even if he was just a regular store clerk, he should still be fired. I'm so sorry that you had to deal…

It always amazes me how superficial some people can be and then act surprised that we don't value the same shallow things they do. On the one hand I'm sure it feels GREAT to be recognized for all of your hard work. On the other hand I'm sure you want to run away as fast as you can from these shallow freaks. Congratulations…

YEA! I'm so happy for you that you got to witness this major milestone in your daughter's life. I'm also glad that it gave you the wakeup call that you needed to continue on your journey. Double bonus!
