    I must admit ..... I've developed a bit of an obsession with avocados. Cut in half, Little pepper on top and scoop 'em out with a spoon!!! Yum!!!

    I added avacados a few months ago...I love them plain, on my salads, sandwiches, burgers. I eat about half a medium one a day. I was concerned that maybe that was too much, but reading all these posts, maybe it's ok and I should up it to a whole one each day!

    Avocados are my fav-o-rite! I :heart: avocados! I typically eat 1 a day, and sometimes more depending on my mood.

    Best guacamole ever:

    3 avocados
    1 can hot Rotel diced tomatoes
    1 Tbsp minced garlic
    1-2 tsp cumin
    1/2 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
    1/2 tsp garlic salt
    1/2 tsp onion salt
    Juice of 1/2 lime

    Feel free to alter the ingredients to taste. Enjoy!

    Hi couldnt agree with you more,fantastic food value here,I put mine in a green smoothie with fresh mint fresh spinach,fresh root ginger,cider vinegar,honey and water,all whizzed up together!!!

    Another avocado a day eater here. Work week lunches - greens, dressing, roasted, unsalted sunflower seeds and one whole avocado, diced. Eating that right now, as a matter of fact. weekend lunch - toasted multi grain bread, one whole mashed avocado, slices of tomato = open face sandwich. sometimes I put cheese on top and broil, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I spread a tbsp of Renee's Southwest Ranch dressing on the toast first, sometimes I don't. I have added low sodium bacon to the sandwich once too. Love, love, love me some avocado.....
