For the people who aren't big fans of drinking plain water: I love to use a fat flush by Jillian that is delicious and easy to drink. I bought a 64 oz. water bottle from Target that I lug around with me everywhere. I put in 2 Tbsp of pure lemon juice, 1 Tbsp cranberry juice (100% juice), 60 oz of distilled or filtered…

It's my first group, but I love the idea of doing a water challenge and a fruits and veggies serving challenge. I have learned to play the calorie game very well, but I don't know if I think ENOUGH about how many servings I'm getting of fruits and veggies. It would be nice to make a game of it.

I've been gone for awhile. And clearly, I've missed something. When I left, there were polite discussions where people might have debated from time to time, but apparently now we just attack each other? The bottom line is that everyone will figure out their own path, and what works for them or makes them feel good. I read…

CHEERS!!! I absolutely refuse to give up my wine, no matter how many people on this site have admonished me for it. As long as I keep my calories in check, then I will be clinking glasses! :drinker:

Last night I made maple roast garlic and butternut squash!! Soooo good. One large butternut, cubed... a whole head of garlic, separated but not peeled, 2 Tbsp extra virgin, 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup, salt, pepper and sage. It was PHENOMENAL!!! And it made the house smell fantastic!! I served it alongside pan seared turkey…

I love to make a FANTASTIC white wine chicken soup (I call it "Day After Soup") out of leftover rotisserie or roasted chicken. I use cubed sweet potatoes, zucchini, onions, garlic, and carrots. If you're interested in the recipe, let me know...

Thank you for posting this. I suffer from the same condition. It does, in fact, blow.

Charrah, it's kind of hard to explain... basically it's a place where you can keep a "bulletin board" of web links that you love. Craft ideas, recipes, quotes, etc... You can browse the things that other people pin, as well as add your own that you want to remember. Pinterest is whatever YOU want it to be.

I just did!! What a sweet husband you are.

lol... okay, okay... I should have rephrased this... I have been eating all day!!!! But because my HIIT workout burns so many calories and today was my longer one, I have more of a surplus than I am happy with. I don't want to eat something unhealthy, so I just thought maybe someone out there would have ideas about healthy…

I made these last night and served them on grilled whole wheat naan, spread with a little hummus and baked spicy sweet potato tots on the side!! They were SO good that I actually prefer them on their own! Next time, I might add a dash of lemon juice for acidity and maybe a touch of paprika. But what a fantastic recipe!!…

I actually have felt like this before too. HIIT takes a lot out of me, so I just assumed it was that... I beefed up on my vitamins and keep going. The key to HIIT is to perservere.
