  • Arielle, I found this Taylor digital one over at Ross off 121/Custer... they usually have a great selection of kitchen gadgets there! I picked up this little gem for about $15 I think and it's been great!…
  • I used Jergen's Skin Firming lotion when I was a teen and was losing weight. It seemed to help "firm" up my skin and make my skin smoother over time. Of course, I gained the weight back and hence why I'm here but I'm using the same lotion again, hopefully it works again this time! St. Ive's also has a cellulite lotion that…
  • Right now I'm stuck on these for snacks! Almonds Blueberries Peaches Light String Cheese Tomatoes/Cucumbers Oh! And I found these wonderful Pepperidge Farms Deli Flats for sandwiches! They're 100 cals and have protein and fiber in them. They're soft and tasty. I get the whole grain wheat kind!
  • I quoted your msg and fixed the links. You have to change the tags to a lower case img instead of IMG
  • Awesome transformation!
  • I got a nice Taylor Digital one @ Ross in the Kitchen section for about $15. It's even made out of glass! You can find all kinds of nice kitchen gadgets either at Ross or TJMaxx/Homegoods!
  • Just curious... I looked at yout food diary for yesterday and saw you had "macaroni" for a snack... you entered just the noodles... was it really just the noodles or was it a 1/2 cup mac n' cheese? If it was the latter, you were probably way over your sodium limits and you are probably retaining water from the excess.…
  • I agree. It sounds like ITBS (illio-tibial band syndrome). Just Google it and search for stretching exercises. It really helps!
  • After. Because that's what I'm eating... the finished product.
  • Agreed. It's repetitive and you often post your "opinions" in a very confrontational manner that is perceived as... well... annoying. Everyone knows this is a public forum and you're freely entitled to your opinions... but seriously.. I read things on this board that I disagree with on a daily basis... but I don't post to…
  • Just eat a serving of raisins every day... it will keep you cleaned out and 'regular'! :flowerforyou:
  • Hiya!

  • There are a certain "few" on these boards that just HAVE to believe they are right and everyone else is just dead wrong... :explode: I won't name names... :flowerforyou:

  • Welcome! I sent you a friend request.
  • Yep, these are good! I do this with my chocolate protein powder sometimes. Tastes like a wonderful treat!
  • I also just discovered these at Target, but I bought the Lime Margarita one... haven't tried it yet but I love lime in my water and I love margaritas! I think I saw that they also have a cosmo one, too.
  • Upper arm, Waist, Hips, Thigh and Calf every 2 weeks.
  • My favorite is now a tall brewed coffee from Starbucks with 2 pumps sugar-free hazelnut syrup, 2-3 splenda and 2 tbsp half & half.. Grand total of 45 cals and tastes wonderful and sweet and creamy! :drinker:
  • Nope, don't like her... and I'm stubborn... I refuse to pay for something when I can do the same thing (basically) for no cost and I'm seeing results better than any "trainer" has ever given me... Just my .02
  • Protein. It will keep you full in the mornings. On days I work I just grab a protein bar that has 15g in it. Keeps me happy until lunch when I load up on protein again and an afternoon snack that has protein as well. I'm a picky eater too but I've found a way to incorporate the foods I like into my diet so that I don't…

  • I agree with the majority of the posters here... eat your fruits and veggies... it's important for overall health and don't worry about the sugars. I don't know what you have your sodium goal set to but as long as you're under 2500mg per day, you're good if you drink enough water. Avoid so many processed foods if this is…
  • Your diary isn't shared so I can't see how many calories you're eating but I suspect you're not eating enough. How many calories a day do you have your goal set to? Are you finding yourself hungry an hour or two after you eat a meal? (If you're not then your metabolism may be slowing... listen to your body... if you're…
  • Unfortuntely, it may be genetics then. I won't ever have slim, beautiful skirt-worthy legs... my heritage just lends me to more athletic, muscular legs... :ohwell: I'd avoid using any machines at the gym... leave those for the dudes... just use your own body weight as resistance and do floor training/toning... Here's a…

  • Are you doing lots of lower body toning? Women shouldn't do squats... especially if you have naturally "thick" quads to begin with. I have lots of English/European heritage in me and my legs are naturally "stocky" and I was advised to avoid any toning or strengthening exercises that would "bulk" them up such as squats.

  • I have the same issue... it was discovered the same way... loss of mental faculties, confusion, forgetfullness, short-term memory loss, tingling in feet and hands as well as extreme fatigue and depression. Luckily I have a good doc and she uncovered my B12 deficiency... I've been taking shots ever since. Don't delay…
  • Yep, I just posted about this problem earlier... except I have more calories to eat than you... at least 1400, but sometimes as much as 1700 including exercise calories! I'm going to just buy regular versions of things... eat my favorite salad dressings n such... just measure the portions. I'm having a hard time with my…
  • :blushing: I already did! LOL I knew I was going to have tons of calories to eat today so I splurged a little on lunch and had a PB&J on a bagel thin! And I eat the baaaaad kind of PB.... the only kind I like... Peter Pan Honey Roast! :smooched: So it's 200 cal for 2tbsp and only 8g protein :grumble: I've still got a need…
  • Honestly, coming from a person who only lives on the first floor.... it would drive me insane to have someone upstairs jumping around for an hour! Even during the normal daily hours! I choose to live on the first floor because I'm not exactly light on my feet, and neither are my dogs so I wouldn't want to disturb the…
  • Well by 'diet' versions I don't mean diet pop or things loaded w/ artificial sweeteners or chemicals. Although I do consume some of them. But I have been buying the low-fat cheeses or low fat sour cream and I can't do skim milk so I stick with 2%, whole makes me sick. I have a hard time because I don't eat much meat, so…
