I'm 10 weeks pregnant as of yesterday. I was trying to lose weight before getting pregnant, but it just didn't happen that way. So, I am much heavier than I would like to be and my goal is not to gain more than 10 lbs with this pregnancy. I am using MFP to track my food and exercise and to try to keep myself honest.

I'm getting married in March and feel the same way! I'm trying to lose at least 30lbs before the wedding (7.5 months from now) and 75lbs before trying to get pregnant. :)

Seems like I am on a similar path. I started at 247 about 3 months ago and today am at 219, hoping I can make it to Onederland by the New Year. You can do this, we both can!

I'm 5'3". My SW was 247, CW is 222, and GW is 145. At my smallest (almost 20 yrs ago), I was 135 but I was happy between 145-150 (US size 10-12).

I've been trying to eat a vegan plant-based diet, but still indulge in a tiny bit of meat and dairy from time to time.

I've lost 24 lbs and my coworkers have just started to notice, commenting on the difference in my face and my baggy jeans. I am 5'3" and have another 75 lbs to lose.

I've been following Eat to Live for 9 weeks now and have lost 24 lbs.

26 lbs is a big loss! I am 9 weeks into Eat to Live and have lost 24 lbs so far. During the first 6 weeks, I lost 20 lbs. I was keeping vegan and avoiding grains, oils, and starchy vegetables during that time and didn't exercise for the majority of the 6 weeks. I'm experimenting with starches now and trying to exercise at…

I use chia seeds in my morning smoothie every day. They're also great for thickening up homemade salad dressings!

I know how you feel. I lost 22 lbs and have about 75 - 80 to go. I notice that my pants are a little loose, but not much else is different. I've lost an inch here and there, but nothing dramatic. I see some people posting on the message boards that have lost 20 lbs and dropped 3 dress sizes. It got me a little discouraged…

I'm a desk jockey. Work as an operations manager for a green roof manufacturer. I get most of my work exercise from walking to the water cooler and ladies room all day. :)

I was happy for find this post! I just ordered my Blendtec today and can't wait until it arrives! I've been using a Breville cordless immersion blender to make my "green" smoothies but it doesn't really emulsify the spinach, so I haven't dared to blend any other veggies yet aside form curly kale (broke down worse than…

That's wonderful and inspiring! I am also a scale addict and thought I was the only person in the world who weighed before and after bathroom, LOL. The longest I've gone without weighing is 2 days so far. Great NSV for you!

Congrats on your weight loss! 53 lbs is a ton of weight, no matter how far you may still have to go on your journey. I'm just beginning (again) and found your post and pics so motivational. Keep up the fantastic work and your wonderfully positive attitude!

Hi! I've been following the "aggressive weight loss" plan in Eat to Live for the past week (started on Tuesday 6/19). I've also been tracking everything I put in my mouth with MFP, but haven't really been trying to keep to a certain calorie goal. It's enough of a struggle on some days to make sure I'm meeting the goals of…

I just started Eat to Live last Tuesday and am enjoying it as well. The prep time is the only down side for me, but I've lost 10 lbs over the last 8 days, so that's motivation enough for me to want to continue.

I feel ya! I only started this Monday, so today is my Day 5 of eating better and working out. But, I haven't lost an ounce and I am so frustrated. Someone at work suggested that I might not be eating enough calories, but I don't know if my body would ever think it's starving. I could live off this extra weight for a good…
