This should be a great place for you to get motivated by others and to motivate yourself... It only gets better when we help ourselves! Just be honest in your food diary, and set small goals ... :-)

I too have a sugar addiction, and sugar is the enemy... you have to have it out of the house, no cereal, no fruit, no candy and no sugar. First set your food diary to reflect the amount of sugar in your daily diet .... secondly remember that many bodily ills feed on sugar... arthritis, cancer, and probably Alzheimer's... I…

today I walked moderately between 2.6 and 3.1 mph and changing my incline from 2.0 to 4.5 for an hour, I had entered my weight, and my treadmill said I burned about 400 calories - I can't go fasted due to injuries, but for me that is a sweat and my h/r goes up. A pers. trainer told me the bikes are most accurate for…

I had an irregular heart beat/palpitations for over 28 years, it never had a name like yours, but it had to do with the electrical impulses... in 1995 I had radio frequency ablation, where they killed heathy heart tissue to break the pathways of the impulses, I do still have flutter and take a high dose beta blocker to…

I don't function well the day after a bad/short sleep... seems to throw me off track all the time.... but I do find if I 'move it' I feel the better for it.....

I used the inexpensive Avon cream for several years, and it was effective.... [ I had lost over 100 lbs....] I continue to use this cream... and it does help fade and keep fading the marks... but it does take time and continued application...

this weekend... it was just the opportunity to have Cheesecake Factory...... sigh.... and while I should have stopped at one bite, I didn't..... lack of self control....

I don't have any specifics, I do use the machines at the gym - that target the back, and the triceps and doing my cardio.... and while the scale is not moving too fast for me, the lost inches are becoming more noticeable.

I have it too, and it was caused by treadmill use/ over use.... my doctor called it plantar fasciitis... and it's very painful.... I did the route with steroid injections into the heel, but the only thing that helped was stretching, and ice and motrin/ advil.... I discontinued the treadmill for a long time, and switched to…

I agree.... if I don't break a sweat or know it's part of a workout, I dont 'eat' those types of calories....

someone told me to buy the hidden valley ranch powder packets and mix it with fat free sour cream and stir in fat free milk to make a salad dressing consistency.... haven't tried it yet, but it's a good idea....

I had never thought to use yogurt instead of mayo.... sounds wonderful... ;-)

if it is not a medical problem, it may just be when you consume your liquids... [and stay away from caffeine!] I don't like getting up at night to pee.... I have my 16 oz [first 2 glasses] of water before my morning coffee [which is decaf].... I have my next three glasses before lunch, and my next three by four oclock in…

just imagine yourself in a year from now.... let's say 50 lbs lighter.... one pound per week, imagine if you had not started this! look forward, and the goals will get easier! ;-)
-
that would be two pounds per week for average..... that is great.... give it time!
-
congratulations! something to be very proud of!

I have had painful cysts in the balls of my feet, and severe problems with my heels and knees.... I tread carefully on the treadmill, taking longer strides, and higher inclines [at a slower speed] ... and use the elliptical and the recumbent bike..... rotating what I can to keep up a sweat .... good luck....
-
one of my friends here did the same, boxed up her scale and hid it for a month..... but I weigh every day - ONCE a day..... on two different scales... I don't panic if I go up a little, it triggers a check list from water consumed to potty habits..... I even discovered the 'problem' with my digital scale.... don't stand in…
