I'm actually keto, but I'd like to say the whole30 was a test run for what strict Paleo would be like. I liked it, even though it was tough. I think I could go primal once I got my resources sorted. I'd like to do it again after the holidays to jump start weight loss & "detox" from all the holiday foods I may eat.

Yeah I couldn't afford grass fed/ organic so I just ate regular store bought. Well maybe when you're more comfortable in your diet you can do a whole30 :) I can't imagine how nightshade would effect me, what kind of side effects can they cause?

what a bummer :( I'd be most concerned about the care of my hair too because it's very thick, gets tangled easy & my skin is very sensitive. I'd really have to search for the perfect "product".

Yeah I was thinking of using Swerve . Spenda is artificial, it's Dextrose, Maltodextrin & Sucraclose. So I want to avoid it.

Net carbs are the carbs MINUS the fiber. So 30 carbs -16 fiber = 14 NET Carbs ( that's the number you count towards your daily intake)

I do, it's usually because of boredom, or I ate more carbs than usual & it effects me the next day. It varies. Don't worry. Just eat more fat :)

I used to get really bad heartburn too! Low-carb has actually helped, but too much dairy & processed foods trigger it for me.

Cauliflower pizza crust is a good option too! :d I hate when companies are inconsistent with their information, it can be dangerous for some! (diabetes/celiac etc). iI've written to a few companies about products one of which was incorrect too.
