I tried LoLo treadmill workout today. It was about 40 calories off from my heart rate monitor but for my first day I loved the app. I also down loaded itreadmill walk. I has Distance, pacer, time, avg pace, step count and calories. I havent tried it yet but you may want to look into them...?

I am giving up my scale....because I am to focused on the numbers and not focused enough on all my hard work I've been doing! I have upped my daily exercise and weekly calorie burns from 1500 a week to 3500 a week. I keep feeling defeated when I step on the scale...so the scale it is!!!!

I have been using "exerbeat" and have worked out for 80-90 minutes at a time. I burn around 700 calories using my HRM!!! I would totally recommend it!!

I started my challenge on January 4th and as of the 11th I was down 2.6 pounds. I do breakfast and lunch shakes and eat regular supper with my family. I too plateau'd for many weeks and had all but given up and then I started the 17 day diet and have dropped 5 pounds in 5 days. I like seeing the scale move again and plan on sticking with this diet until the rest of my weight comes off...I have 55 pounds to lose!

I have a Polar FT4 which comes with a chest strap and I LOVE it!! I would totally recommend it!

I had trouble in the beginning until a friend of mine told me to run at the same pace as I walk (on a treadmill this is easy) and I was able to get through it and haven't looked back since. I am now on week 6 and able to jog 25 minutes straight. I usually walk at 3.5 mph and jog at 4-4.2 mph!! Good luck!!

You should try the bridge to 10k!! I haven't completed the 5k yet but I have already downloaded the 10k app!!

Thankfully I do have a HRM and I have noticed that my treadmill's calories burned vs. my hrm are way off!! I would enter it as speed x minutes for both walking and jogging!! That should give you the closest calories burned! I am on week 4 and I average about 200 cals per time

I had a manual one and HATED it!! I ended up selling it and buying an automatic one for around $350 at a year end clearance sale it was half price. It isn't anything fancy but it gives speed that you are walking as well as distance walked, calories and fat burned. The calories burned are even fairly similar to what my HRM…
