Currently I am training for a half marathon, so I run 3-4 times a week averaging between 3 to 5 miles on the weekday runs and then a long run on Saturday, increasing a mile each week. I actually switch out my shoes, depending on the type of run, I have Nike Lunars (Speedwork/interval runs & working them into my long runs),…

Slow down your pace, strength train your legs, look at what you are eating to fuel your runs. Also, remember to stretch and rest. All of this will help you to get further along into your run. I want to add that it may be mental (all in your head), sometimes as runners the mental aspects can stop us. Once you have been…

If you like cardio do cardio and weight training. Your body, therefore you have a say in what you you would like and if you enjoy something why take it away. Cardio benefits your body, just as much as strength training. If you are trying to build muscle mass than make sure you consume your cardio calories. I believe (I…

I was thinking the exact same thing! He probably does not know the correct form or what type of exercises to do. I agree to call your gym and have a trainer introduce you to some exercises and correct form.

I eat them from time to time and I like the Light Zesty vegetable, Meatball, chicken noodle, and clam chowder. There is a TON of sodium in one container, so I try to not eat them too often!

Diet is key to losing weight. Eating at a deficit allows someone to lose weight. Exercise helps build strength and endurance. I go by the rule 80% diet and 20% exercise. I eat at a deficit, eat to nourish & fuel my body. I exercise to build strength, tone, build endurance, and to relieve stress ( I long for my run days,…

Perhaps you meant to say pizza, not beer? Pizza can have a lot of fat depending on what kind. If you did mean beer, I do not know what kind of beer you're drinking but, my beer does not have fat. Carbs yes, fat no.

^^^^THIS! Please do not look at pizza and beer and tabu or something you cannot have. Fit it in your calories for the day and you will be fine, if you go over stay within your maintenance calories. Also remember that you may gain some water weight due to the alcohol and carbs. This is normal and will go away after a few…

Mine was last summer while visiting the beach in August. I was embarrassed to take my cover up off and go in the water and play with my children, so I sat around and watched them. I did finally take the cover up off but only went in the water once, I felt ashamed of my body. While leaving my children said they were sad…

I noticed around 10 lbs, my clothing was loose and baggy. My husband noticed around 10 lbs. Around 20lbs others started noticing. around 20 lbs is when I had to go down a size in my clothing. I suggest taking measurements and photos every month. Wear the same outfit every time to help you see a difference (form fitting is…
