Great work brother!

The difference would probably be negligible. Focusing on the make-up of the foods is probably more important in the case of breakfast bars, 100 calorie packs, and frozen entrees. Breakfast bars and 100 calorie packs can (general statement because I dont know what you are eating) add lots of empty calories into a fitness…

I was thinking about something like this this morning. What if we go for 15 lbs from the Friday after Thanksgiving to the morning of Christmas Eve. It would be a ton of massive action, but would be a great model for everyone who uses the excuse of the holidays for not being able to get fit. Lets inspire some people!

4 Hour Body is the easiest. I would pick it up if you havent already. Could also help you hit the 25 lb goal
-
Eminem. Lots of Eminem!

Trying to lose about the same here. Worked out for 45 days straight with no loss. Started 4 Hour Body this week and am starting to see progress. Good Luck!

Awesome! Nice job

Most important is how you feel physically. If you have energy and are excited about how you look, dont sweat what size is "normal"

Awesome work!!!!

Whats close by?

Cutting foods is often tough because it gives you too much to think about. It is easier to focus in on what you want to eat the majority of the time. Then, when you are about to eat, you can make quick decisions based on your focus foods.

Be sure to take a day off in between. Sore calves are typically caused by putting too much stress on the balls of the feet. Try running like you walk (heel to toe). It isnt great form, but will help until you get your body adapted. Also, hydrate!

Lorraine. Welcome! Use the site fully. Fill in your specific goals, add a picture, and post to the message boards often. Log in every day! Good luck on your journey!

HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE! You will find water fills you up and is EXTREMELY low calorie. 90% of the time, when you body says "I am Hungary" what it is really saying is "I am dehydrated." Raw Almonds or leafy greens are great too!

Couch to 5K plan is great. Otherwise, try this: Week 1: Walk 5 minutes, run 2 minutes (repeat 4 times) Week 2: Walk 4 minutes, run 3 minutes etc. etc Until you are running the full 28 minutes In the beginning, you dont really have to focus on much other than getting out consistently. 3 - 4 days a week to start is good.…

They post all of their calorie information, and while none of it is "healthy", I think everyone understands the need to eat at these places from time to time. Check their nutrition information on the website, and try to limit fast food to once a week or once every two weeks in moderation. When you eat there, eat there. Get…

Not to tip the apple cart, but my thought is: 1. If you find the food disgusting, dont eat it. 2. If you dont find the food disgusting, limit to once a week or once every two weeks in moderation. When you want a Wendys burger, there is no substitute, and denying yourself will lead to long term failure. Best thing to do is…

Welcome. We are all a bit socially awkward! A great way to stay motivated is to get on MFP and add lots of friends. They will coach you. Log on every day, and offer motivation to others. You will, in turn, get motivated yourself.

I love that it says "I Love Corn"

Give motivation to others on the site. Encourage people. Become the motivation that you need!

Good to know. Why is it called that?

I typically turn on my Nike+ and track distance, calories, etc as it relates to the walk. Figure at 250 yards per hole, at 18 holes, you are walking 4500 yards (or if you golf like me it is more like 6000 with all the walks into the woods.) 4500 yards is about 2.5 miles, so I log that. Any extra calories burned by the…

Awesome NSV. Those bakes goods can be all too tempting

Spend 15 minutes coaching others on MFP. Nothing creates internal motivation like giving external motivation. When you feel empty, try giving!

Tried slim fast, but it never left me full enough. Blended greens in the morning are a great start. Keeps you full and loads on nutrients. Add some fruit for flavor.
