NSV - snacks

This afternoon I was bored and looking for something to do... so I went for a short walk and decided that because I am not having dinner for three hours (meaning 6 hours between meals) I should grab a bite to eat... don't we all snack when we are bored.

Went into a coffee shop and oogled the baked goods - croissants, bagles, muffins mmmmmmm........ they looked delish and were definately calling my name.

Went to order - salad! That's right - salad! A couple slices of chicken breast, tuns of veggies and light vinegrette dressing (1 tbsp)...

Now - I'm satisfied and proud I made a healthy choice that doesn't mean I have to forgoe dinner!

    I surprised myself for sure - my tummy was screaming "bagle with cream cheese - DO IT!!!" and then my head was like "salad - yeah that's the same"

    Remembered what my brother told me - eat for your abs not your tummy
