I eat paleo, and cook dinner every night. I'm always up for recipe swapping.

Sent a request your way!

I could use more friends too. :)

You didn't "ruin" two weeks. You slipped up once, and you'll get back on it tomorrow. Don't beat yourself up over it and try not to let it happen again. :)

The Paleo Mom posts a lot of AIP friendly recipes on her website, you should check her out.

Exactly. We eat that way because it works for us and fits well in our lifestyle. We've weighed the pros and cons and found that, for our situation, the benefits are worth giving up a few foods we knew we shouldn't be eating that often anyway.

If you want detailed information as to why paleo is good for you, you're probably better off checking out google. But I'll give you some of my personal pros and cons: Pros: -Bacon. -More energy -I wake right up in the mornings now. -I feel better when I'm putting healthy stuff in my body. -Weight comes off pretty easily,…

So far I'm just signed up for the Yuengling Shamrock Half Marathon in VA Beach in March. After reading these I feel like I need to go fill in my schedule, haha.

I have a Fitbit Flex. For the most part, I really like it. But there's some aspects of it that I don't. Even though it's water resistant, I don't wear it in the shower anymore, after one shower where I showered for 300 steps, haha. My wife has a body media armband that she really likes. It's more accurate than the flex,…

I started running at about 195. I would have done it earlier but at first I was sick, and then I needed a sports bra capable of holding me down. Once I had the bra I realized I had no excuses left so I started c25k the next day. It's been a great motivator for me and really upped my self image, as well as giving me the…

Yes, my energy level is exceptionally higher than it was before. =)

Peaches and cherries. Hated them growing up, and now I love them both.

I've heard that one of the most common mistakes a bride can make is losing too much weight after purchasing the dress. I'd say that once you have the dress altered, work to maintain your weight. I'm sure you're going to look absolutely gorgeous in your dress regardless, but it'll look the best if it fits perfectly. :)

Personally, I stopped running for my first round of Insanity. That way my body can get used to the intensity of the workouts. Once this round is done, I plan on doing a second round that I'll be running every other day on. That way I can get my running back in and know that my body should be better equipped to handle doing…

I went through pretty much the same thing, though my chemo meds were different. My nausea reaction was so bad I was throwing up every 45 minutes. I ended up losing 20 pounds in my first week of chemo. (Nausea medicine didn't do a whole lot for me, sadly. :( ) Different nausea medicine should help you though! I'm told my…

Osteosarcoma...on my 22nd birthday.

I went from 215 when I started treatment down to 155 by the end of it. I like to joke that cancer was the most effective diet I've ever been on. Sadly I gained almost all of that back, got back up to 195 before I got my eating habits under control. I went so long being unable to swallow anything, and then unable to keep…

Just...just throw the ducks away. No one is going to want a used duck anyway. And I doubt anyone goes to the Salvation Army looking to purchase a used duck.

1. Improve my mile time 2. Run a 10k 3. One armed push-ups 4. Go bathing suit shopping and NOT hate every minute of it!

38DD and I'm in love with my Under Armour bra. I was wearing two sports bras before, one by Moving Comfort and one cheap one from Target (both supposedly high impact), and it was frustrating. With the Under Armour bra I only need to wear one and I get a lot better support from it.

I'm on the last day of the recovery week. Feel free to add me!

A rib tattoo and a two week vacation! The vacation is already planned...just need to hit my goal before then.

Another option is to just calculate your TDEE and change your goals to the number of calories it suggests you eat. That way you don't have to track your exercise calories exactly. I'm lazy, so I do that.

Damn girl! Great job!

Turkey burgers (bunless, of course) topped with bacon and a fried egg. Delicious. :3

Oh gosh hun, why are you eating so few calories? It's great that you want to get in shape though! I lost my first 30 or so pounds just by changing my exercise habits. I started biking to work and school (only 3 miles away for each) and got a job that kept me on my feet a lot more. Since then I picked up C25k to keep me…

I'm on the recovery week. I think the hardest part was the first week and a half or so when my body was adjusting. I was limping around the house like an old lady, moaning and groaning at every move! It's still not easy but I'm able to get all the way through the workouts. I'm already planning on doing a second round of it…

I eat paleo. You've been warned about carb flu right? It sucks but once you get through it you'll feel great I promise! Mine lasted a bit less than a week but my girlfriend, who is super sensitive to just about everything, had it for closer to two. Other than that though, it's pretty great. Our energy levels are higher and…
