Trust me, its all mental. When your mind starts to tell you your tired think about something else. You can visualize your goal which I find helpful, or if you find that corny just plan out your day or something. Thinking about how tired you are only makes you want to quit.

Actually the last few days haven't been so bad, but it looks quite short lived.

Most every food has weight in grams on it. Instead of measuring out 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, measure out 32 grams of peanut butter, or w/e the serving size on the package is. You can put your dish on the scale, zero it out, and then add the peanut butter (or w/e food, like jelly, butter. mayo all have measurements…

When I buy a box of cereal I portion it all out in ziploc bags right away, and grab that w a fruit and go when I don't have time. Dry cereal is pretty good and sometimes I'll get a milk before class if I want.

Are you me? I have been going through the same thing recently. I have gained 15 lbs since December after dropping from 240-142 (5'10" Male) But now I am back up to around 157 despite continuing to exercise daily. It has been such a struggle since even when I was 240 I wouldn't binge like this easily dropping 3k-5k and even…

I'm 21 and struggling with it myself. This week alone has been horrid I binged 6 of the last 8 days. I wish I could offer a solution but I have been pretty low lately and don't have one. I'm going to add you though since I agree most of the resources out there are for women and this group is predominately women. Check out…

How about the fact that it is warmer in Russia than Wisconsin right now lol

1. Yes after logging many miles, you will be able to go longer little at a time. Perhaps shoot for an increase of 10-15% mileage per week. 2. Hitting the wall is variable, but once you have a solid base built up nutrition plays the biggest role in this. I can't say a certain time where I hit the wall, because I have gone…

Here I'll pour you a glass of milk... is that helping?

Shake it off. If it makes you feel any better I have put down easily over 9-10k on some bad days. Put it behind you and don't try anything to compensate. Just don't let it become a habit, once every few months will have little effect other than high blood sugar.

Eat more. I bulked up 10 lbs from Nov.-Jan. running 70 mpw. I always thought that as a runner I could never gain weight, but you need to eat A LOT. It took me 4.5k cals per day approx.

Hey I'm 21 yo male from WI and in college looking to drop the last 5-10 lbs (which have proved to be a major pain...) feel free to add

Hello, I joined a bit ago but haven't posted before. I have lost about 90 lbs from 240-150 (5'10" M) but my binge monster has been back and rough the last few months, so I decided to make a new account and try to take off the lbs I packed on from binge eating. I'll look to this group for support and would love to provide…

Me - 6 Binge - 4 New to the group, but not MFP I just deleted my old account a while ago. The last three days have been binge days but seeing I am still positive for the month thus far helps me feel better.

Thanks for the tips everyone, I read the article and it was very interesting. My goal is to be around the weight I am but have a lower BF%. The article opened my eyes on how it will take multiple cut/bulk cycles to achieve that not just one long one thanks.

Am I the only one who loves Lemonades?

Thanks for the info this is what I needed to hear, that it would take too long and not be worth it. My BF was around 11% and If I had to guess I would say around 17% now. @ Sijomial My goal is to be around my same weight 155-160 (5'10 male) but much more lean. Based on some of the responses I got it sounds better to just…

I was the same way, once I lost & stopped logging (even deleted my old account) I thought I was eating sooo much and was going to regain but I never did. I made a new account to track my intake for a bulk to gain and I would suggest at least tracking to maintain if you don't want to gain to make sure you are not missing…

If you hate it don't drink milk, just eat the food you like, and a little more.

I just look at yout diary and you get less that 30 grams of fat a day? Eat the yolks in your eggs and have some more almonds. Cheese, milk, nuts, meat etc. can help you up the cals w/o upping carbs.

I found that after measuring some of my favorite foods out in servings they just are not worth it. Have you ever measured a serving of chex mix? Its laughably small, idk anyone who eats that little. Same with Oreos, who eats 2 Oreos? But you just need to decide if the treat is really worth it or not, because certain things…

Before a run I normally have 1 banana and 1 piece of toast w Peanut Butter. I used to have powerbars which are fine but got too expensive for everyday use. Before a long run I have cold cereal a lot as well (rice krispies was a fave bc it has low fiber).

I had some bloodwork done recently and found out that I had low protein levels. I will agree with the dry skin my skin was always cracking and such. Also I was more fatigued, dry mouth, and always needed to pee. Now I have started to really track my diet and aim for at least 140 grams per day.
