  • I just looked at your diary. (I think a few of us have.) Here are my recommendations: 1. Cut down on the Starbuck's coffee and snacks. 2. Either learn to cook (if you don't know how) or start cooking for yourself or go to the store and get the low calorie prepackaged meals to make it fast and easy to feed yourself without…
  • When if you didn't get to run before work, you strap on a head lamp and hit the running trail at midnight even if the park is "closed".
  • I can tell you for sure that vitamins have helped my weight loss. I know my ticker says otherwise (because I reset it when I recommitted to losing weight) but I've lost over 75 lbs and vitamins helped.
  • If you have iTunes and are fully entrenched in Apple's sphere of products, get an iPhone. If you do have Apple services but you are sick of them or you are ready to start a brand new way of managing your content (music, movies, apps) then you are ready for an Android device. Another consideration should be that since your…
  • Gee, I wonder what your favorite shoes are...lol

  • This was happening to ma a lot when i lost a lot of weight quickly. I have since gained some back but still had the lightheadedness. All that changed when I started eating frosted mini-wheat cereal for breakfast. The only thing that significantly added to my diet was a big influx of iron. Your body uses iron in the…
  • Ok, I think some of this comes down to anatomy. Seriously! Get this...Women's most sensitive lady part (the *kitten*) is covered up and less likely to be stimulated accidentally. However, Men's glans penis (the head) is not only protruding from the body, but it is rubbing almost CONSTANTLY. Is there really a wonder men…
  • I would suggest that while you are lifting, try to increase the amount of Protein you consume. It will fuel your muscles and keep you fuller longer. Good luck.
  • My wife and I met on http://www.christiandatingforfree.com and began emailing, chatting, and calling for about a month before we met in person. We got married one year to the day of meeting in person. And I can say for sure that it was love at first sight. At the beginning of this past April, we celebrated our one year…
  • I think I may try to convince my wife to do this...and then play the hula hoop game. *smirk* I weigh in totally nude on the fancy schmanzy scale that tells me my body fat percentage in the bathroom.
  • Ok, for the ones that aren't too embarrassing why don't you return them for their smaller counterparts so you know what they look like when they fit? For the other ones...return them and use the proceeds to get something you really want. With returning clothes so easy, I figure as long as it isn't nand-made, then you are…
  • Definitely seems like you should up your calories and you might look into increasing your cardio to eat more calories and lose more weight. Exercise is part of the treatment for low blood pressure also. Considering the high sodium diet your doctor put you on, you might want to request that he order blood test done. You may…
  • Hysterical!!!!
  • My wife definitely likes how I look. She says she always thought I was hot. *slight blush* I did it all by exercise and cutting my calories using MyFitnessPal. I'm a MFP success story in progress.
  • Pack snacks like your mom has wisely emulated and feel safe knowing you are feeding yourself healthy snacks and you don't have to fear that hunger.
  • I just remind myself I have ___ many minutes left and it would be stupid to stop 90% of the way through. I end up going faster for the last 5 minutes than I did for the rest of the workout so I can feel like I'm rushing for the end instead of slogging through it.
  • I used to have the same issue. Now I just want to run it off. If I'm pissed, I run. If I'm sad, I run (and maybe cry if it's serious). If I'm bored....I run!!!!!! (Or I get on the MFP Forums and BS...lol) Replacement therapy WORKS!
  • I posted the recent picture on facebook and I had to convince them I hadn't photoshopped it...lol
  • Diet soda has sodium because a little bit of sodium kicks up the taste of the sweetener. If you are into cooking, you know that if you are trying to make a sweet spaghetti sauce and you have added things to sweeten it but it doesn't seem to work, you add a little bit of salt and it is suddenly super sweet. Your tastebuds…
  • Easy things would be anything you can cut up into sticks (carrot sticks, celery with peanut butter, chicken fingers), anything you can drink through a straw (smoothies, shakes, juice), anything easily eaten with a fork or in a wrap or sandwich (salads, quesadillas, ranch chicken lettuce wrap, grilled chicken panini). I…
  • Ok, here is a guy's perspective. It probably wasn't a conscious thought as to whether or not he should do something nice...he just knew he should. If he looked back at it, he might have really appreciated the morning wake up cal you gave him *wink* or he has noticed how your mood has improved and your confidence soars.…
  • Definitely eat. Don't Carb load tonight though. I would try to fill up more on protein and add some carbs on the side. Don't go over your goal, but don't push yourself to eat the least you can and still go to bed. The rule of just enough should definitely be in effect.
  • I have to admit, I watch the biggest loser...but I have DVR so the 2 hours is more like an hour and 15 minutes. I don't like that they soon learn to manipulate water weight to get a better number on the scale. Still, it inspires me to lose weight and continue on my journey...though it be not as quick as the contestants.
  • bump means they like the thread and want to put it once again at the top of the discussion list by adding a comment. Instead of writing something inane, they use the conventional "bump".
  • Integration with programs like RunKeeper so you can just import the exercise statistics. Variable input for runners and walkers allowing them to put in the distance, time, and/or speed to record the activity and more accurately determine calories burned. I agree with the need for a chat feature.
  • My wife is losint weight also and she asks me what I will do when her breasts get smaller...I said, "it is the whole package I'm interested in...just don't lose the butt!" Her only complaint is that I have to wash my own workout clothes because they smell like man sweat...lol!
  • My wife can't keep her hands off of ME!!! And if I turn to look at her as I walk to the bathroom in the morning (wearing just my skivvies) I see her watching my butt. She can't believe that the ring she bought for me 5 months ago is so big on me it falls off when I do the dishes. I can't wait until I get down to my goal…
  • I was watching my rehearsal and wedding videos from this April and I noticed my stomach stuck out so much, my shirt flowed out a good 4-5 inches past my pants. I was mortified watching it just a few months later. I'm 75 pounds down and I have 39 left. Can't wait to get to my goal and really know what it feels like to be…
  • I don't think my wife has ever looked more beautiful than this morning when she woke up in my arms and she just looked into my eyes and said "I love you."
  • I've been eating my exercise calories (MFP has lowered it twice in the 75lbs I've lost so far) because with the exercise I'm more hungry. I have been plateaued for about 2 weeks and I have really noticed the muscle gain lately. I picked up some (5) of the on sale protein bars at Kroger and tried them out to see how they…
