I jumped back in with BOD the other day. For 99 dollars a year, you can’t go wrong. I am a huge fan of Chalene’s workouts. I did LIIIFT 4 today and want to try MM100 too.

You can do this. Stay focused on maybe 5 to 10lbs at a time. I have gained a lot but it will come off.

I left it a while ago, I loved it 10 years ago but what are the200 foods they now have added? Also, why not just do the smart points program since you have the info? I didn't like smart points because with the old program I could look at a food and tell the points plus too many points for carbohydrates.

What I meant was we are so tuned into the diet mentality, of restricting and deprivation, that we have grown to be a society of scared eaters..because we haven't learned how to be mindful- we have just learned to diet. We are so ingrained about the scale... so ingrained about what is good or bad, we call ourselves…
-
No. You can't spot train
-
That sounds ridiculous. If you have 4tbsp and you are under your calorie range what is the big issue?
-
Then what happens aftee your birthday. Be realistic
-
Why don't you read about listening to your body and trusting it instead of going on and off diets. Just eat foods like a person who doesn't obsess about food and dieting.
-
Thanks- yes it seems like many people on here are so stuck into that mentality- I need to l lose weight for my wedding, or school reunion- that the scale is all the care about. Many do not care about their long term health. My first diet years ago when I was 14, I thought once I lost all the weight, my life would do a 180.…

I think this is not a good idea. Eventually you have to go off of it, and then what?
-
I haven't had WLS but I believe that it is just one tool, though a helpful one I am sure to lose weight. Your mind, if you have a binge eating disorder, will still be the same. If doesn't change your brain. How often are people eating when they are not hungry in general? JMHO

Read about intuitive eating. It is ok to have unhealthy foods at times, but not to over do it. I also wouldn't say you're dieting. Look at unhealthy foods as something that will hurt your body more than help it, when you eat healthy , see how much more energy you have. Do not beat yourself up.

I am also adult onset type 1 which is called LADA, type 1.5 technically. I have been on my journey, back on my journey for 3 weeks. I have been doing well and my insulin went from 65 units of lantus to 20, and 8 units of novolog to 3. Things have been much better. Always here for friends

I am always up for new friends. So Cal here.

Personally, I think that eating too much and depression tend to correlate. I have lost weight before and been close to my goal and have still felt depressed. It is a myth that once you lose weight, everything will come together in your life.

Fire your trainer. Do not take the pills.
-
I guess you've never heard of food texture issues. I have that problem too. I have tried and tried everything. I can eat veggies cooked, but not raw. I literally gag, or anything that has seeds, skin.
-
Do it for YOU also. I agree with ^
-
Feel free to add me. First thing is don't call it a diet :) Also, think positively
-
I hope you don't have an eating disorder. This is not enough food at all.
-
Great workout! If you have the motivational CD, my story is on Track 7. I love Chalene! :)
-
By the way, Cancer and holocaust victims are/were skinny. Go for healthy and forget the scale for a minute.
-
Good lord who even uses the word SKINNY anymore? Sounds like you are the one still torturing yourself to be SKINNY- not society. Society doesn't care to be honest. And anyone in society that cares isn't worth your time. With that being said, strive to be fit.:)
-
I know it's just semantics, but why do people call it a cheat day/meal? The word cheat makes people sound bad. If you go over your calories you are not bad.
-
Les Mills Pump
-
Don't use the word CHEAT. It makes you sound like a felon. Meanwhile, having some indulgences occasionally won't kill you. Just make sure the word is occasionally and you fit it into your week.
-
I love Chalene and all of her workouts. I am currently doing Turbo Fire. I am also fortunate enough to have my success story on her Chalean Extreme motivational CD. Always up for new Turbo/Extreme friends :)

This was written by a woman who used to work there- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/iris-higgins/an-open-apology-to-all-of_b_3762714.html#es_share_ended Start reading packaging. You are being ripped off my JC. Check out recipes you can do yourself for 1/10 of the price these people charge for their junk.

You don't have to starve yourself either: eating less isn't really a solution. Eat healthier and yes move more. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/iris-higgins/an-open-apology-to-all-of_b_3762714.html#es_share_ended

So this person who sold you their garbage now isn't there to support you? Can you return it?
