  • I have Wii Zumba 2. I have struggled to keep up in Zumba classes but always found them to be fun, so having the option to do this in the privacy of my own home is awesome. It is a good workout and there are options for low, medium, and high impact songs. There is also a section to learn the steps. Sometimes I find it hard…
  • I have it and work the videos into my routine but I never completed the whole system because I got bored with it. Not that it is boring, I just have trouble doing the same stuff all the time, I need more variety. I followed the program for about 3 weeks straight and it definitely changed the shape of my butt and slimmed…
  • Pescetarians are welcome, come join us!
  • I just got it yesterday but so far I really like it! I'm lacking in the coordination department, had trouble in an actual zumba class and can never keep up in a step aerobics class but I was able to do this. There is a section to learn all of the steps and I think that really helps. According to the game, I burned 130…
  • I just bought this dvd today (for only $5.99!) and I plan to start tomorrow. How has it been going for you? I'm a little scared...I had abs work, but I need it desperately!
  • I've heard that doyogawithme.com has free videos, though I haven't tried that one. Tara Stiles has a youtube channel, a dvd, and at least one, maybe 2, books. I have her Slim Calm Sexy Yoga book, and it goes through all of the poses and gives you practices for specific needs, like back pain, anxiety, digestive problems,…
  • I've been struggling to find some suitable underwear too. I usually wear bikini's but they get bunchy and my butt gets all squished during yoga so I'm thinking about trying thongs. : ) Under Armour makes some that get good reviews, but they are pricey so I haven't bought them yet.
  • I don't like to share drinks with my husband because then I don't know if I'm getting all of my water!
  • I got food poisoning from Mcdonald's last year the day after Christmas and lost 6 pounds. 3 of them stayed away and despite the food poisoning being an awful experience, it helped kick-start my weight loss journey!
  • Ditto what he said.
  • I love Giada's marinara sauce recipe, but it takes a while to make. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/marinara-sauce-recipe/index.html When I need something quick, I follow the general recipe but just don't cook it as long. I use tomato sauce or diced tomatoes, pulverize the veggies with my chopper.…
  • I had a similar problem with my low back last year. I decided to talk to a chiropractor and I'm so glad I did. The numbness and tingling I was feeling was my nerves being pinched by my vertebrae being out of line. The same thing can happen in your upper back and affect your shoulder. It may be worth a shot to talk with a…
  • bump! These sound delish. I'm going to try the frosting made with PB2.
  • That's just plain McNasty! Thanks for posting this, my husband likes the McRib so I'll be sharing this with him
  • I like the way McFatterton worded this - I'm 95% lacto ovo and 5% pescetarian - because that's me too! Feel free to add me. And welcome!
  • I eat oats with cinnamon, PB2 and chocolate whey protein powder sometimes for breakfast. I add a few chocolate chips for sweetness though. :-)
  • I haven't completed the full program but got halfway through it using the treadmill. I tried to switch to running outside at that point and couldn't do it, I had to go back a few weeks! I guess it depends on your goal, if you want to actually run in a 5K race, I say go outside. If you are just doing it for fitness/weight…
  • I'm all about being the healthiest I can be, so if 180 is the ideal weight for your height and build, I say keep going! You may also want to ask your doctor for their opinion. If you need a new support network, add some new MFP friends! Feel free to add me. :-)
  • I have back problems and have to be very careful what exercise I do. Some days are better than others. I see a chiropractor and he encouraged me to stretch as often as possible (like at least twice a day). Some of the stretches he told me to do are actually yoga poses like cat/cow and child's pose. Practicing yoga…
  • That's awesome! I think NSV's are better motivators than the darn scale. Keep it up!
  • I love lentils so this sounds great! Thanks for posting!
  • All frozen meals give me "digestive complications". Haven't figured out why but my body doesn't like them for some reason. I stay far away! Plus they have a ton of sodium!
  • I literally just told my husband "I WANT CAKE!" and this will be the perfect fix. Thank you :-)
  • Gina at skinnytaste.com has some great zucchini recipes: http://www.google.com/cse?cx=partner-pub-3033354159786444%3An94dmhv84ah&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=zucchini&sa=Search&siteurl=www.skinnytaste.com%2F Her low-fat chocolate chip zucchini bread is already pretty healthy. I never pass on chocolate so I would keep it in but you…
  • Ditto that. I even took one to a cookout I went to where I knew they were serving fatty burgers. They are that good! I like to grill them and then stuff them in a 1/2 a whole wheat pita with some tzatziki, feta cheese and lettuce. Soo good!
  • I'm pretty sure skinnytaste.com has recipes for low-cal versions of both cheesecake and red-velvet. Her stuff is always tasty! I've made the strawberry cheesecake bars with greek yogurt and they were super delicious.
  • We have 2 rescue Dachshunds and they both had horrible coats when we got them. Our girl was missing fur and her skin was red and irritated all over and our boy had a really rough coat, he felt like a brillo pad! We feed them Nutripet and it has made a huge difference. They love it and everyone comments on how soft and…
  • Something in the Skinny Cow products does not agree with my stomach so I avoid them! I buy the churned style light ice creams. Not sure where you live but in my area I get the Giant (also Eagle in some places) branch churned style mint chocolate chip. 120 calories for 1/2 cup is enough to satisfy my need to ice cream!

  • I used to be addicted to Diet Coke too but now I can't stand the taste. The only soda I remotely like any more is Diet Root Beer. To kick the habit I started drinking 1 energy drink per day. Xs brand has no carbs, no sugars, 8 calories, and only as much caffeine as 1 cup of coffee. You get the energy from B vitamins so…
