Yes I had plantar fasciitis for over a year. Very painful. It started after I upped my running distance to a half marathon and really set me back. I couldn't run for 3 months and then went back to short runs but often ran through the pain. Rolling my foot over a tennis ball helped as it stretches the tendon and also over a…

Well done on your weight loss! I am close too but those last few kilos are hard to shift. All the best in your maintenance phase.

I also burn a similar amount in 2-3 hours. I wear a chest strap with my hrs and only predominately do cardio. I think a point someone made on the forums about some of these calories coming from just maintaining normal body activitie(like breathing etc) is a valid one. He said he never eats all of his calories bac usually…

I think you should eat at maintenance calories but add extra protein for muscle gain and repair. You will look better with muscle gain leaner and more toned. I hope this helps.

Hi I am sending friend request too.

Hi just start by logging everything you eat on mfp and start with simple exercise such as walking for a few minutes. You can increase the exercise slowly. If you need. Support feel fre to add me. I have sent a friend request.

Hi as I understand it you should eat back some of the calories you burnt during exercise. The 1200 calories already have a deficit built in so not eating back the calories just increases the deficit and may not be enough nutrition for your activity level as for the protein you need it for muscle maintenance and the…

-

You can add me if you like. I don't have a lot to lose but will need ongoing support when I get to maintenance and am happy to provide support and encouragement.
-
Have used them a while ago. They are a good start.

Hi it is harder when you only have a little to lose. Maybe you need to look at your exercise routine and change it up either intensity or duration. It depends what you are already doing.
-
Thanks everyone lots to think about. I will certainly try some of your suggestions.

Thanks for your response. By not being able to control my eating I mean I keep grazing all the time once I start. If I stop myself I think about food constantly so it is a battle. If I am stressed I eat without thinking. I am not often over my calories because I work out a lot but this is not sustainable. I am definitely…

Hi you can add me too if you wish. I exercise 6 days a week and am very motivated as far as exercise goes it is food that is my problem.

Hi I am also in a similar position. Lost weight and got to my goal maintained for two years then life happened and I have regained half. I joined two weeks ago and am trying to get into the habit of logging all my food. I exercise regularly but food is my issue as I am an emotional eater too. Feel free to add me if you…
