It depends on your weight. If you're obese, then you dont need to gain weight at all. You can if you want, but my Dr said the people who need to gain extra weight are those with a normal bmi. Amen. And as a relative noob(1 month on mfp), I can say that MFPers have helped me break, no smash my plateau, motivated me to work out more, lift heavier weights, do hiit, and eat clean. I THANK them, not take offense!

WoW(disc priest obsession), Rift, LOTRO, and now Im into Guild Wars 2. I dont get to game as much these days raising a toddler, but I still love playing on weekends.

I agree with everything in moderation. Fruit is useful is you're craving something sugary, and a banana obviously would have less sugar than a cupcake. I incorporate a lot of HIIT into my workouts so I eat fruit after every workout.

I dont quite understand this either. If Im short calories, I gladly pop an avocado or almonds in my mouth. Yummy. I keep my calories 1400-1500 ish, it may be on the low side, but I get in a massive cheat meal on Friday nights and catch up.

I do 1 hour of circuit/strength training 6 days a week, and row 10-20k afterwards. I finish everything by 8am, before my son wakes up.

Im not sure how much fruit to water ratio you're using, but I use about 1 cup of frozen fruit to one gallon of water. Its about 60cal for the whole thing. I pour myself huge glasses of water and usually drink the whole gallon in a day, so I just tack on 60 cal for the fruit. If you drink half a gallon in a day, I'd say 30…
