I did Simply Filling when I was on WW, but they limit fats to 2 teaspoons a day and they "penalize" most foods that folks on low carb eat (full fat dairy and avocado just to name a few).

I eat non breakfast foods for breakfast (leftovers or soup). I also intermittent fast so I don't eat my first meal until 11 a.m. When I do eat breakfast and I don't eat eggs, I make a keto friendly protein powder mixed with coconut milk, then I add chia seeds. It turns into a pudding like consistency. There are keto…

I just found out about zero carb and plan to try it in March, as well. I realized I only eat about 1-2 servings of vegetables anyway, so it may not be much of a change.

I just picked up G. Hughes Smokehouse Sugar Free Honey flavored BBQ sauce at Wal-Mart. It was at the bottom of the shelf and there were two flavors. One serving (2 tablespoons) is 2 grams of carbs. I haven't tried the honey flavor yet, but the other one (maybe mesquite?) wasn't too bad.

One of my favorite things about the Christmas Tea at the Brown Palace Hotel in :Denver is their curried egg salad. It's amazing. I try to recreate it by making egg salad with mayo and adding a healthy dash of curry powder. Then I eat it as is or stuff it in celery sticks.

I'm always intrigued when I see the aerator on cooking shows. Someday I'm going to have one of those.

Nuts, cheese, pepperoni, salami. I usually don't have extra eggs on hand (2 eggs for breakfast means the dozen lasts me one week). This week my Safeway had 18 count eggs for $1.49 so I plan on having HB eggs or deviled eggs in the fridge for a quick grab and go.

I've had bad leg cramps even when not doing LC. I got quinine pills at Walgreens, which helped a lot. For the not too severe cramps, I use Icy Hot and that helps a lot.

It's on my Kindle. I plan to start it later today.

Low Carb Yum has a marscapone mousse with berries recipe. I haven't tried it because I'm trying to avoid dessert-type things early in this low carb journey. http://lowcarbyum.com/mascarpone-cheese-mousse-berries/

Bacon wrapped anything makes every day a holiday! You're pictures are amazing. Thanks for sharing.

That looks really good. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

Every time I make ham in the crock pot it's too dried out. I haven't hit the "sweet spot" for timing where the ham is warmed through and not sitting in a pool of juice.

I've been watching the Food Network Thanksgiving shows off and on all day today and I thought it would have been great to have George Stella or any other low carb chef with a low carb Thanksgiving. I think Thanksgiving is the easiest holiday to make low carb of all the holidays.

If it's a movie/food service place I order wings or a compliant salad. If it's just a regular movie theater, I usually just buy a bottle of water and wait to eat after the move.

I use SF watermelon and lime during the summer added to my water.

Thanks for the reviews. I think I'm definitely going to try the Beef Merlot. Since I cook just for myself, I haven't made pot roast in a while because of the volume of leftovers.

It's nice to have a safe haven to discuss what some people think is a fad diet. I've seen too many internet posters (not just on MFP) who can drive those away who are just looking for information and don't want to have to defend this WOE.

I got the stuff to make a pizza type casserole in the slow cooker (ground beef, pepperoni, peppers, onions, mushrooms, sauce, seasonings, and cheese. The pizza dip with cream cheese would be great with veggies or even pork rinds!

Phrick, that pizza looks amazing! Thanks for posting the link.

For my next birthday, I'm going to start the tradition of eating at a great steak place or a Brazilian steak house. I have to make a concerted effort to stop eating sweets and I can get cake at any in-store deli. A steak or unlimited skewers of meat? I'd rather have someone else do the cooking for me!

It depends upon how I'm traveling and my destination. If I fly, I take snack packs of nuts and make sure I have a bottle of water. On the distant end, I stay at my timeshare where I have access to a full kitchen and a grill. For car travel, I'd put lunch meat, cheese and HB eggs in a cooler. When eating out, I'd focus on…

I wonder how many young people even know what a floppy drive is? <head tilt>

I've never made fat bombs, but I just may have to start! Thanks for the recipe.

I make a cup of Bigelow's Salted Caramel black tea and drink it with a tablespoon or two of HWC.

There was an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where Frank took Marie's grease can because he needed it for change. I remember her description of all the bacon and pancetta she cooked and strained so she could make meals for Frank.

Thanks Samantha. I had looked for a topic on this, but didn't see this one.

Wow, that looks good. I don't have sugar free ketchup, but I did buy a tube of tomato sauce that I think will work if I had a touch of stevia or other sweetener to.

I skipped the granola and actually had Oreos for breakfast this morning. I really need to get the sugar dragon under control and train myself from a sweet to a savory girl.
