I'm just excited to be in and have a goal for this fall to work for. I do better with my weight/fitness goals when i have something to train for.

I'm finishing up week 4 today. Down 3 pounds roughly, but my fitness is up a ton. When i started i was within 7 pounds to goal, and its pretty hard for me to lose weight @ this point. With that being said, i'm very happy to be taking the time to do it. the results show, and i'm excited to finish so i can start running…

The Registration is a total fail. everything i have been told about the race says its wonderful to run. As far as the expense, its very pricey. Sharing a room with a buddy but still the room after parking is $200 a night each. I am doing way less races their year VS last. (last year i did 8, this year 3) so i am using that…

I'm on Day 11 of Insanity. It's getting easier but still is hard but hard in a good way. I'm firming up and i like it! I do use a HRM and eat back about 80% of my calories back, just like i do when i run a lot.
-
1/2 pound. i'm at the end of my journey now and i with all the working out i do, i find it hard to lose weight. (Doing Insanity Right now, along with the running i normally do) either way i am happy that i lose that 1/2 pound. :)

This Spring i have a Trail Half Marathon. I'm fired up for it cause it will be the second time i have ran this race and i can race myself:) (plus this is the start of the 2013 race season for me!!!) So far i have like 5 races planned. Trail Half Marathon in April 10 Mile road race is August 16 Mile iron Warrior Dash in…

1. Ran 3 Half marathons, and like 6 other running events in 2012. 2. Learned how to run correctly to avoid injury as much as possible. (I even took a class!) 3. Ran across a 5 Mile suspension bridge for Labor Day! 4. Ran across another Suspension Bridge and into a underwater tunnel as i crossed international border from…

Training Wise, I eat at least 100 Calories before any run. Race wise, I carb out (4 frozen waffles and 1/2 cup of maple syrup about a hour before if possible) plus 100 calorie Jelly Sport Beans before i start the actual race. Got to fuel my body. But as everyone has said, you have to find what works for you.

Added ya! Would be happy to support you to hit your goals!

^Fun Loving person.

Not a free day but i will run 6 miles in the morning and stay with in the calories i gain from the run. I also take the 1 plate approach @ parties and that helps me not over due it.

I have two pairs that i use. For road running, i have a pair of Saucony Kinvara 3, they still have some padding but have a less than a 5mm drop. I have like to some padding for road running. For Trail Running, i have a pair of Merrell Trail Glove Shoes. They are total minimalist shoes and good for running in the woods.…
