    1. I lost 45 lbs since May
    2. I started running
    3. I completed 3 road races (2 5ks and a 5 mile)
    4. I went from a size 20 to a 14
    5. I stopped taking meds for depression / anxiety
    6. I joined a running club and registered for the half marathon in 2013
    7. I no longer stress about clothing
    8. I became a happier person
    9. I increased my awareness of food cues / advertisements and how they affect me
    10. I increased my self-efficacy / esteem

    Goals for 2013

    1. Complete half marathon
    2. Train for and complete Ruckus run
    3. Work on eating mindfully
    4. Reach goal weight

    My Accomplishments in 2012:

    1. Lost. 29lbs
    2 Exercise consistently 6x/week
    3. More energy
    4. Got my Sexy back
    5. Gave up my daily 2 bottles of 20oz Pepsi addiction
    6. Learned a great deal of actual portion control & serving sizes
    7. Eating more healthier options
    8. A much more happier version of me
    9. Dropped 2 dress sizes from 14 to 10.

    Looking forward to 2013 !

    Im gonna keep mine all weight loss related... so here goes :)...............

    1. Started this weightloss/ healthier lifstyle on September 10, 2012
    2. Lost 21.4 LBS since then
    3. Kept 16lbs off
    4. STILL on this JOURNEY, usually I would have given up by now
    5. Stopped drinking juice, sodas etc. ONLY drink water
    6. Increased my water intake DRASTICALLY....before I started I wld go days without water
    7. I exercise regularly,
    8. Fit into a jeans I cld not get into
    9. Joined MFP and have been pretty committed to it
    10. I eat more fruits and less junk food....

    1. Lost 20 pounds.
    2. Healed from a 20 year eating disorder! This accomplishment makes me the happiest!
    3. Lost 10 pounds between thanksgiving and new year's instead of gaining 10 like I normally do.
    4. Actually crave exercise now!
    5. Gained serious muscle mass in the 2 months I've been heavy lifting.
    6. Gone down 2 pant sizes.
    7. Gave up drinking completely and lost all craving for it. This is huge since beer used to be my life.
    8. Gave up all gluten and dairy and refined sugar and healed from psoriasis! I truly love my clean eating diet!
    9. Inspired my kids to eat clean and enjoy family exercise activities.
    10. Went cross country skiing this month and found out just how much life I've been missing by making excuses for so long. Now I have a bucket list of adventures!

    4) blood tests showing no liver damage for the first time in a decade
    5) bmi from 44 to 28
    6) bought new clothes twice
    7) proved to myself that I can achieve something that I thought was impossible

    8 months well spent

    1. Become an expecting dad
    2. Started P90X decided to change my life
    3. Lost 35lbs
    4. Was able to buy a brand new truck
    5. Started Strength Training
    6. Got a 285lb bench press
    7. Got a 400lb Dead lift
    8. Went from an 3XL shirt to an XL
    9. Went from a 42 pants down to a 36
    10. Work Out even when my lifting partners don't.

    1 Quit smoking on 01-06-12. Haven't had one since. :smokin:
    2. Quit drinking Diet Pepsi (a 2 liter a day habit) on March 1, 2012 :drinker:
    3. Found and joined MFP in April 2012. Lost 57 pounds from April to 10-17-12. :smile:
    4. Began exercising 04-01-12. Cardio every day. :noway:
    5. Quit eating fast food in May 2012. :tongue:
    6. Found In Place of a Roadmap in July 2012. Focused on measurements, eating more & fat loss. :happy:
    7. Began strength training in August 2012. Started to feel strong. :flowerforyou:
    8. Began lifting heavy on 10-17-12 and all I can say is :love: Haven't weighed since - but lost another jean size since Oct.
    9. Made it through the holidays of 2012 with NO BINGES & continuing to work out!!! :blushing:
    10. Really love my life again. Don't need New Year's Resolutions about my health this year - they are now habits!!! :laugh:

    Great post!

    1) lost 100+ lbs
    2) lost 7" off my bust, 15" off my waist, 12" off my hips and 8.5" off each thigh
    3) went from a size 22 to a size 10

    It was a pretty good year!

    Great idea for this post! Here are some of my accomplishments (in no particular order, I'm equally proud of all of them)

    1. Found MFP and decided to change my life on 1/24/12 :)
    2. Lost 16.4 lbs!
    3. Changed my eating habits...big time!
    4. Exercise more frequently (and actually enjoy it)
    5. Went from a size 12 to a size 8
    6. Encouraged 3 of my friends, my mom and my boyfriend to join MFP (they all have made AMAZING progress)
    7. Ran my first 5K (something I never thought I'd do)
    8. Started training for a half marathon!

    Can't wait to add to this list for 2013!!

    1. lost 54.7 lbs (since August 14th)
    2. lost 9.5 " off of my waist, 6.5" off of my hips and 6" off of my chest
    3. Gone from a women's size 18 pants (tight) to a size 12 pants (soooo close to a 10), and a 2x top to a large!
    4. Completed the C25K program, cut 12:32 min of my very first race time.
    5. workout at least 5 days a week for 40 min.
    6. started strength training (which I fought for a while)
    7. lowered my blood pressure some, not all yet.
    8. have started making much healthier food choices
    9. made myself proud for the first time in a long time!!

    For 2013:
    1. Hit my goal (30.3 lbs away!)
    2. Enjoy strength training
    3. get the blood pressure completely under control (even if I do require meds)
    4. clean up the diet even more

    1) Lost 32 pounds and 5% body fat
    2) Was able to stop taking medication for high blood pressure
    3) Ran my first 5K in February, and then ran 7 more throughout the year
    4) Ran the Warrior Dash, didn't stop once and completed ALL the obstacles!
    5) Had blood work done in March and my cholesterol was under 200 for the first time since I've had it first checked, well over 10 years ago
    6) Was able to leg press 500 pounds, 3 times in a row!
    7) Had my longest run yet at 7.6 miles
    8) Now wearing size 10/12 pants and medium/large tops (after starting at 22/24 and XXL)
    9) Felt good about putting my picture on our Christmas card this year. First time EVER!
    10) Reached 100 pounds lost

    I LOVE this thread! You all are so inspiring and positive.

    I have had the best year of my adult life and I'm feeling so grateful at this moment but a little bitter sweet about it ending!

    1. I had my first 4.0 semester in college. My GPA is a solid 3.74.

    2. I learned how to surf...in El Salvador.

    3. I got to my lowest weight and toned body (I have since gained some back but I know what my body is capable now).

    4. I raised my credit score 90 points.

    5. I spent 10 days in Italy traveling by train.

    6. I changed my last name (something I wanted to do since I was 16).

    7. Found an amazing yoga studio and have embraced "living in the moment".

    8. I stood up for myself more and took no prisoners!

    1) Lost about 23lbs
    2) Stopped making excuses about being fat and stopped blaming someone else.
    3) Lowest weight since my late 20's (I'm 52 now)
    4) Aerobic fitness much improved (resting heartrate down by approx 10bpm)
    5) Strength improved by (about 25%)
    6) 34" waist jeans now baggy (previously couldn't wear 36" jeans)
    7) Can see my toes without learning forward.
    8) Best year for my back health for ages.
    9) Now enjoy salad (well to a degree anyway!)
    10)Gave up diet fizzy drinks and artifical sweeteners.

    1. Lost 25 pounds since last Xmas.
    2. My foot problems are greatly reduced with less weight on them.
    3. No weight gain over the holidays this year.
    4. Actually crave exercise now!
    5. Gone down from a 36 to a 32.
    6. See some veins and muscles in my arms :-)

    Now...On to my gut....

    Awesome everyone!!

    From Oct 2011 to Dec 2012 I dropped 1.5 inches from my waist, one from my hips, and 0.5 from my bust, 7 lbs total and 4% body fat :)

    Also, there are no processed foods in my house. At all. Open my fridge and see you fruits, vegetables, dairy and maybe some wine... lol

    I enjoyed reading all of your accomplishments. I will add mine:

    1. Started tracking on MFP and lost a total of 10 pounds.
    2. Made a comeback after being sick off and on all year.
    3. Been DEBT FREE for an entire year! (This was quite an accomplishment)
    4. Visited my family whom I had not seen in a few years.

    I am sure there is much more that I am not listing, but I am grateful for all that has taken place in my life this year and looking forward to even greater things in 2013. Happy New Year!:happy:

    1. Ran 3 Half marathons, and like 6 other running events in 2012.
    2. Learned how to run correctly to avoid injury as much as possible. (I even took a class!)
    3. Ran across a 5 Mile suspension bridge for Labor Day!
    4. Ran across another Suspension Bridge and into a underwater tunnel as i crossed international border from the US to Canada and back!
    5. Stayed on course and kept nearly 90% of my my original weight loss off.
    6. Changed goals because my original goal was unreachable based on how much training i can do.
    7. I am a 8:30 minute per mile runner now.
    8. Tired to be a better husband, and i think i did:)
    9. Hit my income goal @ work for 2012.
    10. Learned i can do anything, and than i do it. (before i just thought i could but didn't always follow threw.)
    11. Got a lot done on my Honey Do list!

    running is no longer a workout but a lifestyle as is healthy living.

    Bring on 2013!
