What have YOU accomplished in 2012?

In the past year I have:
Lost 30 pounds
Began buiying all fresh foods, and no longer cook anything processed
I have become more interested in exercise, enough to consider becoming a trainer
Gotten family interested in being healthy as well
In the new year I plan to:
Run 1, 5k
Complete 2 jillian michaels cd's
Lose 15 more pounds and keep it off.0 -
1. Had a baby!
2. Lost all the baby weight....
3. ...Plus another 20lbs
4. met my ultimate goal weight
5. got back into school
6. fixed things with my SIL, now we're good friends
7. STARTED to fix things with the in-laws, and am starting to hate them just a little less
8. cleaned out and updated my wardrobe
9. got a part-time job that I can take my kid to
10. cut our total family debt in HALF

Great thread.
1. Lost 1/3 of my body weight
2. Ran a 10k race without walking
3. Dropped 5 dress sizes
4. Squatted 75% of my body weight
5. Bought clothes in normal shops and not even in the biggest size they had
6 Took control of my life and stopped waking up miserable every morning about my weight
7. Was described as 'inspirational' countless times
8. Finally weigh less than my husband
9. Cycled 50 miles in one day
10. Improved every single aspect of my life.
And in 2013 I'm going to:
1. Run my first half marathon (March 2013)
2. Compete in my first triathlon (March 2013)
3. Reach my goal weight
4. Climb Ben Nevis
5. Maintain my weight loss
6. Wear amazing clothes
7. Maintain my goal weight
8. Try and inspire people.

I maintained my weight and finished P90X a few times.0

2. from size 20 to 12/14 (bra band was crazy 44 to 36!)
3. completed 4- 5K runs(I would have laughed at you if you said I would do this last year) with a triathlon planned in July(me? the chubby-funny girl doing triathlons? wait...nahhh)
4. I am officially addicted to exercise and it is part of me as much as just brushing my teeth (this is the best accomplishment ever because this is a lifestyle change for good)
5. I am a semi heavy lifter now..well..at least for what I started out doing..

1. lost 34 pounds
2. lost my belly I had at the beginning of the year
3. noticed a change in body definition
4. stretching made it possible for me to touch my toes again
5. muscles have gotten stronger and bigger
6. my attitude has changed cuz I now KNOW I can do this
7. started cutting out foods with a lot of added sugars
8. dropped jean size from 34 to 32
9. made it to a healthy bmi range
10. last but not least important, met a lot of amazing peeps here that have helped make all of this possible0 -

Great Job everyone!
Here are my few accomplishments for 2012
1. I have lost 51 lbs from June 5th until now.
2. I have went from not being about to walk a mile, to walking 5+ miles
3. I have participated in 5, 5k's. Walk and run, My time started out at 52 minutes, my last race was 45 minutes.
4. I have gone from a size 20 jeans, to a size 14.
5. I can actually see my toes now.
6. I feel sexy even though I am still heavy. I have motivation and will power now.
7. ( for us ladies, sorry fellas ) I have ovulated consistently for the last 6 months. ( menstruated )
8. I actually inspire people.0 -

Lost 8 kilos since learning how to use it (not alot but slow and steady wins the race )
Have had many celebrations holidays etc through the year and still have lost 8 kilos

Looking forward to another good 15 ~ 20 kilos gone in 2013

1) i lost 11 kg, 24 pounds. From overweight to normal
2) i fit in australian size 8 jeans. American size 4.
3) i eat more fish and calcium
4) i have more self control with junk food
5) i go to the gym 3x a week
2013
1) help out with the homeless
2) read my bible every day

1. Got rid of one bad boyfriend, who made me feel terrible and treated me badly... and got a new one that treats me like he should<3
2. Lost 60lbs, gained 20 back, then lost 9 of that 20... lol I'm still working on that
3. Went from a size XL to S-M
4. Straight As
5. Went from a size 12 jean to size 8
6. Beat two eating disorders
7. 73 hours of volunteer work with toys for tots and the kids and less fortunate of my community0 -

Here's mine. Not much but something to be proud of myself.
1. Changed my way of thinking from diet to lose weight to burn fat and drop inches.
2. Eat to fuel and not being scare to eat any more.
3. Have been going to the gym 3-5 times, mostly 3, a week since August.
4. I don't get afraid to go into the weigh room anymore
5. Started heavy lifting 3 times a week since November 11. Feeling great about it!
6. Stopped thinking that I would get bulky from heavy lifts.0 -
In 2012 I accomplished the following:
1. Lost 32 lbs
2. Ran first mud run
3. I ran my first marathon in Lake Tahoe
4. Liked marathons so much I ran a second one on Dec 2.
5. Ran a 5k in 20:32
6. Ran a 10k a few days before Christmas at 49:03
7. Completed Body 4 Life, Spartan Circuit, 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, Shed & Shred, Kettleworx
8. Joined a marathon running club
9. Finally at age 46 got washboard abs for the first time in my life.
10. Started cooking and eating healthy meals on a regular basis.0 -
Quit smoking Jan 26,2012
Lost 21 pounds after I quit smoking
Can now walk 40 minutes without stopping
Can ride stationary bike 20 minutes
Turned 60 this year0 -
1. Lost 116 lbs
2. Went from a size 28 - 13
3. Blood pressure now normal
4. Bought clothes from a regular store (no more plus sized stores for me)
5. Can do full burpees
6. No longer hyperventilate after climbing a single set of stairs
7. On week 5 of a12 week learning to run 5km program
For 2013......
8. Hit my goal weight of 125lbs
9. Do a Tough Murder challenge in June
10. Complete the Sun Run, a 10 run in my home town0 -

15 lbs down (140lb smallest size I've ever been!) and the best shape I've EVER been in! :-)0 -
I got myself back into the shape I wanted.
1. Dropped from 291 to 170
2. Dropped from 44 relaxed jeans to 33 slim jeans and pants
3. Went from an XXL shirt size to a Medium
4. Went from a lazy slob to lifting 4x a week
5. Stopped being embarrassed to take off my shirt
6. Got off high blood pressure medication and evened it out
7. Not embarrassed to have my picture taken anymore
8. I feel better than I have in 20 years
