I'd say low fat string cheese once per day is ok. Or you could try low fat cottage cheese. Cottage cheese is casein protein which means your body digests it slower throughout the day! I eat cottage cheese once a day myself! Just in moderation I think your ok with regular low fat cheese.

Hi! I'm a mother to a 3 yr old and was looking for the extra motivation to jump start to reach my goals! I did the 24 day challenge and loved it because i had a guideline I knew I had to follow! Diet and exercise are so important and with that...staying on track and keeping motivated! Remember to stay hydrated throughout…

Hi! Getting side track was always a problem with me too! I don't know how many times I said to myself "I'll start on Monday"! Until I did the 24 day challenge and that really helped my stay motivated since I had to follow a guideline! Good luck to you on your journey!

Welcome! You can do it! Stay on track and don't give up! Each step is a step closer toward reaching your goal! So whether it be baby steps or huge leaps...keep it up!!!

Wow! Thanks for all the answers! I was trying to do 5 small meals but you all have made me realize it doesn't have to be a calculated amount! Just what works for me!

Hi and welcome! I snack on hard boiled eggs, fruit, almonds, cottage cheese, fiber bars (so u stay fuller longer), Greek yogurt...just to name a few of my snacks!

Congrats on making the decision to better yourself! Make time for "you" everyday to workout! It's a good stress relief and make sure to keep on point with dieting! :)

Hi! I'm 29 and had a baby and started to let myself go. I looked at old pictures and compared my body to the way it was and knew I had to make a change! Motivation is key! I fall off every now and then and it gets hard to get back into it! Hey I'm only human! Lol!

Gluten free isn't really for dieting. It's because people have an allergy to it. Just try low carb dieting. Take 0.5 x weight in pounds and that is how many grams you should aim for per day in carbs. Make sure you get lots of lean protein and veggies/fruits!
-
I would review your diet and caloric intake. Keep up your workouts with cardio and weight training. Rember muscle burns fat! Also make sure you stay hydrated! Even 1% dehydrated causes your metabolism to slow down!
-

Subway's bread is the worst! Empty calories! But if you must then opt for the chicken sub with veggies! No mayo!
-
I try and eat more fruits to get natural sugar. Or if I must...then I eat dark chocolate covered almonds or acai berries
-
Moderation...but make it a reward! If you workout 5 days out of the 7 day week then reward yourself with 1 sweet treat!
-
Egg whites and a small amount of plain oatmeal or 1 slice Ezekiel bread with 1 TB almond butter and a banana. If I'm in a rush then precooked hard boiled eggs with an apple to go!

I like a lot of Jillian Michaels videos!
