Couldn't have said it better. I have lost family members to this disease and both my parents have it. I found out I had it only because my doctor noticed I was tired a lot after I had surgery, and tested me. It saved my life I am thankful everyday that she did catch it, cause it changed my life for the better. It made me…

I was diagnosed as a Type II but on the borderline of prediabetic and diabetic. Anyway, I have lost a significant amount of weight and reversed the condition. I never took meds because I can control it with my diet. But I say do it while you are still in this stage, poking my finger sucks.

This post really resonated with me. I am experiencing the same thing! Just know that you are not alone. I still can't look at my old pics, but I'm also constantly reminded of my old self when people point out how much weight I've lost. It's good and bad at the same time. But I feel it's one of those things where over time…

You look great! I can't wait to post pics when my arms get there!

The only thing I'd shell out money for were my slacks for work which were less than $100 combined. I think once I've settled on a…

I'm Type II (Reversed). Just wondering if you've gone to a Dietitian (CDE)? That helped me the most in the beginning and also just getting around and moving. I started off doing walking and it helped improved my numbers dramatically.

I have lost 86 lbs in total. However, I believe I lost 40 lbs of it in a short amount of time (started MFP and it came off quickly). My exercise was mainly cardio (walking) because that was all I could do. But it left me with wrinkly looking skin on my stomach area, upper thighs and arms. However, I have slowed down my…
