  • A day late but ready for the challenge! I've been slacking a little bit workout wise lately but my food has been relatively healthy so I'm maintaining for the most part. I have 2 weddings coming up, one of which is a beach wedding so I need all the motivation I can get! Original starting weight-185 August starting weight-…
  • I'd love some more active friends too - back at it after a rough patch and some extra support would be great! Feel free to add me too :)
  • Like everyone else has already said, tea and/or healthy, pre-portioned snacks are usually my go-to. I often find that it's not even the actual food but more the process of eating that is a habit for me, so I've started trying to find other things to do while watching tv to occupy my hands. Sounds rather childish, but I…
  • I'd be interested as well :) I've done it a few times already, but would like to keep at it regularly and need some accountability to do that!
  • I'm just transitioning to morning workouts, so currently I'm in bed by 10 at the latest, up at 5:30 and done my workout by 6:30 to start getting ready for work. I just do a dvd usually, so typically about 45 minutes of cardio and then a few minutes to cool down and breathe before I have to get ready for the real world.…
  • Nobody's looking at you. Going for a walk will definitely help even things out if you're over on calories. Depending where you are, is there somewhere you can walk to (stores, scenic areas, trail, etc)? I often feel more motivated about it when I know I have a destination in mind and am not just wandering about aimlessly.…
  • I'm going into a master's program in the fall and it's taken me the last four years to realize how terrible my eating habits have become. Since starting university, I've gained about 20 pounds and am looking to get rid of that again. I'm spending the summer focusing on getting back on track with nutrition and exercise so…
  • I also have anxiety, and choose to work out primarily at home, using a variety of dvds and youtube videos. I take advantage of the warm weather and walk outside a lot as well. If you want to push yourself and go to the gym, I would recommend maybe finding a trainer for a couple sessions so you won't be alone, and you then…
  • Sodium nitrate (found in most pre-packaged meats, cold meats, hot dogs, etc) and aspartame, for me.
  • Sorry everyone, I haven't been able to keep up with it this week so I am planning on starting over on Monday. I'll probably be mixing in some Slim in 6 as well to mix things up because I can't always do cardio every day (and enjoy it, anyway...). Hope you're all still doing well!!
  • Welcome! I had a similar realization not too long ago and it's definitely helped, even though I still have a long way to go. Today, I'm proud of myself for saying no to buying a chocolate bar at work when my colleagues did because I recognized that I wasn't hungry.
  • Sorry everyone, was planning on getting back into it tonight but I'm just too tired tonight. Back to it tomorrow! Keep up the awesome work ladies!
  • Good luck to everyone just starting out! I will be out of town from today-Sunday evening so I won't be doing them over the weekend, but planning on jumping back in where I left off when I get back!
  • Just finished Alpha Ab Intervals! So far, I'd say that was my fave...I know most people seem to like speed/cardio, but I could do without the burnouts!
  • Just finished Speed 1.0 and Total Body Circuit! Doubled up today because I couldn't do it over the weekend like I was planning on and will be leaving to visit family on Thursday so I won't be able to do them then either. Speed was good - definitely liked it better than cardio I think and I think I would like TBC better if…
  • I'm not using shakeology, just real food and protein shakes as needed :) And I'll definitely be sticking with Tanya for a while!
  • Some things came up for me over the last couple days so I haven't been able to do it since Friday, but day 2 for me will be tonight - Speed 1.0 here I come! Might double up since I'll be leaving town and won't be able to do it Friday-Sunday, but I'll have to wait and see how I'm feeling. Good luck everyone!!
  • Today I'm proud of myself for eating two of my trigger foods without bingeing.

  • Welcome :) Hope your ankle heals well and quickly! I did day 1 - cardio today...wow. It's fast! I followed Tanya for the majority of it doing the modified moves or something in between the modified and regular moves and was able to keep up for the most part, but it took me a few seconds to figure out what we were doing…
  • Okay, today is day one for me! I will be doing it after I get home from work, so I have a few hours to mentally prepare myself ;) I think I'm going to just continue posting in this thread every day after I complete the workout, so feel free to do the same if you want!

  • Today, I'm proud of myself for allowing myself a higher calorie treat guilt-free in the evening by adjusting my dinner plan. Craving gone and still within my goals for the day :)

  • May 27 Me: 19 TB: 8
  • May 26 Me: 18 TB: 8
  • Yeah, after looking at my calendar, I think I might actually be starting on Friday, May 30th instead - I'm going out of town next Thursday-Sunday so I want to be able to get the first week in without doubling up unnecessarily.
  • May 25 Me: 18 TB: 7
  • Of course! Good luck!!
