How's it going so far everyone? I am down 3lbs some starting on Monday. I am determined that for 6 months I am really committed to this (I joined a 6 month Dietbet...so if I lose 3% each month I get my money back each month. Hoping to be treating myself to something nice Dec 1st!)
-
Yea! I am back on here, too! I have 50-60lbs to lose. I joined a Dietbet starting tomorrow, June 1st. Let's encourage each other. I have to lose 10% by Dec 1st. Add me to your friend list!

Yeah, I am starting a similar journey. 5'4 190lbs...just signed up for a 6 month Dietbet starting tomorrow. Goal is for losing 10% in those 6 months, which puts me at 171lb by Dec 1st. My ultimate goal is to be 140lb by the time I am 45 which is in 2 years.

Yea, I am starting tomorrow as well! Please add me, I need to have people on the same journey with me!

WhooHoo! I am seeing results by just trying to move more, not snacking late night, and realistic portion control. Lost 3.5 lbs since starting on Sunday…my goal is to lose 7 in March and keep it off! That's 4% of my weight. I'll do another 4% in April….

Just for today: 1. 10,000 to 12,000 steps 2. NO late night snacks 3. more sleep

WhooHooo, so far I have lost 3.5lbs. I really haven't done anything drastic. I am literally just trying to get 10,000-12,000 steps a day, logging everything I eat (I haven't cut things out, just smaller amounts), watching my portions, NOT snacking late at night and trying to drink more water. My goal is to lose 7lbs in…

Just for today… I successfully DIDN'T go over my calorie count. And I WILL NOT do late night snacking!

I am a sahm, 41 years old, with a 6 year old and a 2 year old. I decided that in March my goal is to lose 4% of my weight. So I am 181 right now, I would like to be at 174 by March 31st. I saw a diet bet that said they saw a lot of success with people just doing monthly 4% goals….so here I go. I am hitting this hard this…

Ok, I am starting back on this life style of taking care of myself…March is my month to work hard at a better me.

FINALLY...I got to that 5 lb mark...ugh...I lost 4 lbs really quickly (started end of Feb) but just kept gaining and losing 2 lbs...today I weighed in and I finally lost a lb to move my total to 5. I printed out that ugly picture of what 5 lbs of fat looks like to hang on my wall to remind me to keep it off for good!!!…

If you know that you will feel better for doing a bit of a workout, then go ahead. Sometimes when we feel like we should, but we don't...we end up feeling bad, which leads to eating something unhealthy....and you don't want that!!
-
WOW that is soooooo impressive! Good for you. That hard work and dedication is paying off!
-
My starting weight is 154.2...let's see where I end up come May 1st!
-
I log mine as two exercises. I figure out how long I actually run and log that, then do the same for walking.
-
Well, I was stuck at gaining/ losing the same 1 lb for the last couple of weeks...here's to a new week and losing the blasted pound for good!!
-
It's okay! Remember, this is a life change, not a quick fix. You can have fun weeks, just remember to come back and keep track of making yourself healthy.
-
Thanks for starting a new thread!! I'm in...I lost 4 in the first challenge, so hopefully I can lose 5-8 in the month of April...I will just post what I weigh in at when I weigh myself on Fridays...Thanks again!!
-
Ugh, these past 3 days have been BLAH for me...got to get motivated again...I just dropped off the exercise train since Wed. I'll need to get back to it today
-
YES!!! Let's do another month...I didn't hit the 10 lb mark, but just having that in the back of my head really helped with making decisions about what food to eat or not eat I should say! Will you be starting a new thread? Or just doing this one?
-
Yummy....I just did the chicken, ketchup, and a coke meal...wow, the chicken was amazing!! My husband and kid loved it!!
-
WOW...great for you! I am so glad I read your post. I have become pretty down this last week. I completed the 5K training and have started on my 10K training, but have only lost 4 lbs in the last 5 weeks...ugh...I am even doing a sit up, push up , squat challenge to get in some strenghthening. But...still not seeing the…

You can actually freeze rice really well! I make a big pot then divide it into ziplock bags and freeze them flat. I put about 2c per bag of cooked rice. Then when you need a side dish, just pop one in the microwave with a bit of water in the bag...heat about 2 mins and there you have your rice. It comes out really well!…
