I soak them in regular white vinegar, the same kind you'd use to clean with, and a little balsamic because I love it, it colours them a bit though. Soak them a few hours at least, or you could simmer them for ten minutes but it really smells out the house, ha! You can bake them to your liking, I do it about 25 minutes and…

I eat low calorie ones, they have about 70 to 80 calories in a bag. And sometimes I soak chickpeas in vinegar, then drain them and lightly salt them, spray with cooking spray and bake, they're lovely for the cinema. Tear kale off their stocks and rub a little oil on and season - I like smoked paprika, black pepper and sea…

Disgusting chain, awful ethics. It's a disgrace how popular it is, unfortunately, most people enjoy ignorance

Drunk people in a bar OP? No way, surely not?! If you don't like being around drunk people, go to a restaurant and leave the people capable of having fun alone

Haaahahaha! :drinker:

It was all the meals. Not one, or from one place

Good job! 4lbs in the beginning over two weeks sounds right to me, I'd give it another two to three weeks and it should go down to 1lb, but if you lose 1.5 or 2, you probably won't lose anything the following week, so keep an eye on that too. Good luck :)

Yes! I ear fingerless gloves jogging. I like being cold better than feeling like a big droopy blob though

I all of a sudden don't think my name is rubbish anymore. Some ghastly names here. Won't someone please think of the children, I've given spiders more respectable names

Unicorns DO NOT fart

Saying "I'm a selfish ****" doesn't make it okay to be one. Saying "to be blunt" doesn't exempt you from having basic manners and from showing decency towards others. There was no need for the last sentence

This is incredible - I use low fat alpro soya and it's really low in calories, the one I made came to 80

When you'd rather use your calories on a nicer dinner and STILL have your icecream, then this is great - , and adds to your fruit intake, it's a win win win! take your favourite fat free yogurt, put a couple of tablespoons into a blender with half a frozen banana (when they are really ripe, cut them into quarter inch…

Ouch. She was just trying to be helpful, no need to snap at her

Insane! You were still really pretty before, but you look like a different person completely, and you're stunning now. Inspirational, I'll think of this at jogging tonight

View it as exciting instead of scary. It's gonna be amazing to know that by 2015, you will be the you that you want to be. How fast does a year go by? VERY. Once you get started, and stick to it, you'll become addicted, and in my opinion it becomes fun. It feels really good. There will be dark days, but just knowing that…

I LOVE COUS COUS!! It's so cheap. Yeah the calories are big, but bulk it out with loads of veg. And corn! Or Chickpeas! Quinoa, I haven't tried, because it's expensive (here). If I was rich I'd get it aaaaaall the time

Nothing gives me headaches other than that (and red wine, heh heh). Avoid it personally. It might not be bad for you, my opinion is that it is. It's not good for you anyway

I don't know, but anything that makes you feel more attractive is likely to help, and nothing makes you feel more attractive than the results of exercise

I would ADORE a vitamix. But I'm poor :( I have an oscar juicer though. We're very good friends, and he makes me icecream and nut butter

Yeah, I still can't get over wraps. Using a lettuce leaf is a good alternative for me but only if I have something hearty in it, like a falafal and hummus or a few rice balls and salad. If it's a straight up salad wrap that's all peppers, pineapple, carrot, tomato, cucumber and spring onion, I just think putting that into…

I was shocked by watermelon, because I could eat a whole one in a day. It's not too sweet and it's so watery, but I shouldn't have thought that means I can eat my head in it  Peanutbutter surprised me. I add a full tbsp to my stir fry sauce and I never knew I was adding close to 100 calories. Boo. Oats were…

I found out, it's spoken sometimes as gaeilge (in irish). But never said in English, which is why nobody here has heard that, ha! I had to ask a teacher to find out
