  • It sounds like wheat / gluten could be a trigger for you, I was much like this a few years back and constipation, my doctor was convinced I had celiacs but I don't, but I have terrible symptoms. I used to eat oats but now those do it too
  • Thanks everyone, really appreciate all the suggestions, taking all on board
  • Mine was a star with a face winking and sticking it's tongue out. I still love it. But the ones since have been better
  • Backside melts into the sofa. My world, my TV, my food. Besides listening to my belly gurgle, ain't much else to do
  • Yuck Banana nice cream
  • Everything in moderation :)
  • I hope the pill isn't why, because I don't want babies, but I haven't been able to lose anything since I started trying January.
  • :flowerforyou: I loved this. Thank you. Though I did think Champagne was one of the lowest calorie things with alcohol. Dammit
  • Wine spritzers, any short with sugar free mixer, or water. I workout on Saturdays, eat bulky low calorie meals and use about 700 calories to drink with :drinker:
  • No way. I always ask for a chick. I don't want to discuss my weight loss goals with a guy. Nothing wrong with sticking to same sex if that's what makes you comfortable
  • All you have to do, it not get the vodka too warm, and risk losing any of the good stuff. I always half the liquid it says on the jelly pack too, to make sure it sets. I use vegetarian jelly too, there's always a vegetarian at a party. It's much easier with the gelatin stuff though I add the vodka slowly after letting the…
  • I don't mean to change the subject of this thread but I'm really curious - did you feel bad at all when you began eating meat? I have a few friends who were raised vegetarian also, and one who likes to complain very dramatically that she was robbed of her choice to eat meat, because now she can't, because her body will be…
  • I do, I really enjoy it though, don't see it as a pain at all, I never think about it, but I gave up meat as soon as I was old enough (in my family, that was 12) and I never wanted to eat it, so it was very easy for me. There was only a few things I missed, almost all of them were smoked, fish, bacon and pepperoni. It was…
  • The man who's running the couch to 5k programme that I'm doing only began running this yea, in January, and he completed a mountain marathon during the Summer. I think he must have been quite fit already but he said that he started the couch to 5k for fun and didn't expect anything to come of it, but now he's running…
  • I always prepare my salad veg separate from the leaves, and dress the veg instead to keep my leaves crisp, but that's my personal preference... Adding pineapple makes a huge difference, a little pesto, balsamic, lemon. Orange and a tiny bit of mustard and spring onion stirred through grated carrot, sometimes a pinch of…
  • This :) Just go to the house and be very polite. It sounds like the dog is usually controlled better if you've never seen him before, it may have been a once off. If the dog was going to bite you, it would have, my guess is he's just a hyper dog. Explain what happened and mention for the dog's safety as well as yours, and…
  • Duh, I basically said that, but it doesn't hurt, and I feel better when I have it. For whatever reason
  • Well, as a teenager, I had a few spots, dabbing warm lemon juice onto a spot clears them. My doctor advised drinking more water, which is obvious, and the addition of lemon juice in the water itself would further aid it. The spots I had disappeared and my skin is like a baby's bum now, 15 years later. Not a blemish or a…
  • I drink tepid lemon water every morning, it's nice and it keeps my skin clear. I always feel better when I do, it certainly never has any adverse effects. I'd say it has as much to do with hydrating your system immediately at the start of your day than it has to do with the lemon, but as I say, I add it mainly for my skin.…
  • First time, lost 4 stone, I was 11 years old. People hassled me for being "too thin" (5 foot 5 and my lowest,at 14, I then was 127lbs, perfect weight! I wish I'd never listened to those fools), so I put on a stone by the time I was 16. Yo yo'd for awhile, tried stupid fads, by the time I was 18 I'd gained another 16lbs,…
  • I look the same age. I have a chubby face. No matter what. Humph.
  • Wanna have a party?
  • If you're feeling drained, I'd pay more attention to what you're eating before I decided to boost your exercise. You should not be drained like that, check your iron for a start, and make sure you aren't deficient in anything else. I personally get fantastic energy from drinking fresh green vegetable juice half the week,…
  • I'm REALLY shocked at the UK thing too! I buy and make puree from the cooking pumpkins once a week at those time of year for baking, it makes the best cupcakes. I'm in Ireland, similar food to the UK but much more difficult to find certain things. Aldi sells canned pumpkin once in awhile, but never in the other shops, and…
  • It's incredible, I love it. Just goes down a bit too easy. I drink the cheap stuff, but if someone buys the expensive stuff, I'll drink that too
  • Yeah - what this guy said! That's what got me started! Tough, but very managable
  • I think you just have to exercise. I was like you for years, I used to like exercise but after a few injuries I kinda...stopped! Then I was at a weight I was happy with and that was enough, but as you get older you change shape. In a bad way. You just have to find something you like and stick with it, no matter what, if…
