There's some suggestions that it makes you more receptive to sugar and so more likely to put on weight and that the sweeteners are the devil etc etc etc. I drink it. It tastes nice. I've lost weight. *shrug*

As someone who has about a million stretchmarks (genetics, I guess), time is the best healer. Getting some sun seems to help speed it up a bit but don't burn yourself, just a light tan.

If you're watching what you eat and exercising and the weight isn't coming off as expected it's not something that may or may not be controlling your appetite that's the problem. It doesn't make you gain it makes you want to eat more, so control that desire to eat more.

I put on a load of weight on 40mg of citalopram. It increased my appetite like woah. I'm on 100mg of sertraline at the moment and my appetite isn't crazy any more and I'm slowly losing weight but I can tell my metabolism has slowed down.

I'm about 5`0 and a half! I don't have as much to lose as you though, I'd like to get about 20lbs off optimally but I'd be happy with 7 - 15 off. Good luck!

Perhaps you've reached a plateau with running so you don't burn as much doing it, try some different exercise for a while?

Would spending a few weeks on maintenance level (so more calories) be helpful? You wouldn't gain but it would be a lot more flexible in terms of how much you could eat.

Yes, I log it before I eat, that way I can see if I need to make any adjustments to what I'm having. I don't have a phone that can use the app (and any phone without wifi would get no signal at my house anyway) but my boyfriend has an iphone and he let me install the app on it so when I'm with him I use that. I miss it!

It's a good point. I've been allowing myself a single square of dark chocolate (85% cocoa solids, apparently it's good for you!) a day. It's only 30 calories or so and it's way better than if I went crazy and ate the whole block in one go - 539 calories! Plus I have problems with depression and some studies say a bit of…
