  • I too came across the Trinity (Train Eat Gain) programme. So, for those of you that started the Trinity programme earlier this year I am interested to know how you are all getting on 7months later? Was the programme easy to follow? Are you still following it and have new habits been formed? Were the results as good as…
  • If you have ever been out somewhere public with a child that doesn't conform to the norm, then it sure feels like they are being punished in one way or another. The 'tutting', the looks, the whispers and comments about bad parenting! Meh!
  • OMG! Seriously people. I agree with the above. My son is a loving boy but has an autistic spectrum disorder which means he cannot manage social situations the same as so called 'normal kids'. The only way he will learn about the world is to be put in situations where he can see how the world works - going shopping, eating…
  • Started the 5:2 IF approach this week. Would love to chat to new people, get motivation and support (and of course give some). Yay - bring it on
  • Hey there! I'm 5'4" and would like to lose about 14lbs or a little more if poss. Started on the 5:2 IF approach this week. On a 'fast' day today and came back to MFP to get some motivation and support and also give some if I can. Lets do this!!
  • Erm, I might be a little dense here but what is TDEE?
  • I just started this week and my understanding is that you only have 500calories (women) and thats it on the 2 fast days.

  • Good luck Victoria! I started the 5:2 system on monday this week and my 2nd fast day is today (eeek!). Monday went much much better than I thought it would but I have to be honest, I am home today as my son is off school cos he is poorly which means I won't be busy like I normally am at work. All the food in the kitchen…
  • I'm in West Sussex (not mega miles from Surrey). Good luck on your weightloss journey. What is your workout preference.......gym, running, home DVD? Feel free to add me
  • Light make up every day for me! My foundation is a powdered mineral type and it has an SPF of 25 which means I am protecting my face everyday too!! Yay! Hopefully keeping the fine lines at bay for as long as possible.
  • I really want to start incorporating running into my workout schedule but as I am a single parent I cannot go out of the house without my son having to come with me. He can ride his bike while I crack on with the running (gonna try Couch to 5k) but since I decided to do that, the weather has been rainy! Cannot exactly drag…
  • If friends wanted to go out for dinner for an all you can eat buffet I would go along if no other option as for me they are a waste of time. I cannot eat alot in one sitting. I eat a minium of 6 times a day and the size of the meals are never massive. If it was a free buffet then thats ok cos I would only be…
  • Is it still ok for me to join? I will read this thread properly later as I am at work right now in my break and not got chance to read it all. Looking forward to september now. Crazy C
  • I managed up to Day 11 but it was too hard on my knee joints and I had to stop doing it as I didn't want to cause long term damage! I loved the DVD thought and as gutted that I couldn't complete the whole 30days. I hope you love it too!
  • Thanks everyone! I looked online and voila!...............there is a local running shop in my town! Yay! I popped in this afternoon and the man assessed how I walked etc - was very thorough. He brought out 3 pairs of running shoes that I had never heard of before and the winner for me was a pair of Brooks! They felt great.…
  • I have an 8year old son and I truly believe he is the most stubborn child on the planet.!! When he was 1yrs old he went through a really bad patch with refusing to eat anything lumpy (after a very horrible sickness bug). The health visitors told me he would not starve himself or go hungry and that it was a battle of…
  • I believe they are very rich in magnesium. Magnesium is needed for healthy/strong bones and teeth. Also see this link; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-12865291 I just brought some more today and am looking forward to sprinkling a few chopped up on my porridge in the morning. Shame they have such a high calorie value or I…
  • Thanks for all the comments everyone. I did purchase a DVD and with the kettlebell and it disc 1 is all about technique etc and they recommend you watch and use this before starting the exercise programme on disc 2 so I am hoping not to suffer an injury. I'll pop back with my progress/thought on it after using it for a…
  • Hi! Not from London but only 45mins away in Sussex! Glad you are enjoying the site. I Love it!! Feel free to add me
  • I struggle with eating later in the evening too! I eat well in the day and then a good evening meal with my son around 5.30-6pm. The problem I have is that once he goes to bed and I am alone (I'm a single parent) I just comfort eat and eat due to boredom! From eating my evening meal I have 5 hours to try and resist more…
  • I Live about an hour from London. Its simply awful!!
  • Ok so just had a look at Kettleworx and also Kettlercise. Wow there is a huge price difference and I am soooooo confused. Kettleworx is £79.95 for loads of DVDs and a kettlebell which is only 5lb in weight. Kettlercise is £34.95 for 2 DVD's aimed at women and the kettlebell is 4kg in weight and this is for beginners. I am…
  • Welcome! Good luck on your journey. This site is great for motivation & support!
  • Had a look at Kettlercise DVD set and reckon I will give that a try. They recommended starting at 4kg as I am fairly new to this kinda workout. Wish me luck!!! :glasses:
