Friends in Hampshire/Surrey, UK? Newish here :-)

Hi all,

Was wondering if there are any FP people from Hampshire/Surrey, UK? Would be good to hear from people trying to lose weight and see if they can recommend places to go, things to do around here to motivate the weight loss. I am near Alton and use the gym there. I love running and walking but found that most groups do activities in the morning when I am at work. I don't have any friends trying to loose weight either so I lose motivation sometimes. Would be nice getting in touch with local people to exchange ideas etc...

I would however welcome friends from all over the world :-)

    Hi,

    I'm from Fleet (Surrey, Hampshire border)... welcome to MFP.

    I go to Fitness First gym in Fleet, and like to walk roiund Virginia Water Lake or Fleet Pond is quite nice too (for somewhere closer to home - for me at least).

    Whereabouts do you live ? Be nice to have a local fitness/diet buddy! :-)

    I do all my work outs at home so I'm afraid I'll be no good for recommending gyms, etc.

    Born in Frimley, I spent my first year of life in camberly, then bordon, then farnham, signed up in the AFCO in portsmouth... er.. now out again and living in scotland...

    Hi! I'm currently in Chessington but am always moving and have lived all over Surrey. I've been using MFP consistently for a year now (well, 6 days shy of a year to be precise) and have lost 51lbs using this site with only 12lbs to go to my first goal :-)
