  • Welcome back! I'm just now coming back too... I know it's probably been that long or longer since I was here last. I've semi-maintained. I'm definitely not back to my biggest, but have a long way to go... again.
  • Hmm I really like this idea! I'm thinking like premake a vat of it to freeze in cups and thaw it on my way to work. Very quick and I've had some great juices with like apples and spinach and all kinds of stuff. Great suggestion!!!
  • Counting oz for oz they really aren't... a couple cents more tops...
  • I know I'm terrible about veggies. I really need help in that area. I have a 7 month old and I swore that I would eat healthy WITH him and he loves all his veggies, especially peas and squash. Me, I'll eat beans every now an then. Its horrible. I really do need some veggie encouragement. And less PB obviously, lol.
  • Yeah I still have 305 calories left!
  • The crackers were 10g toward my alloted 46. Steak for dinner and ham sandwich for lunch was only 8g. The PB was my killer at 24g, but I don't usually eat 3 tbsp a day... I was just craving it for some reason. And the EVOO was 11g. Which all puts me over by 15g. I don't know for sure that I'm actually eating all the EVOO…
  • It will help to rinse the canned veggies before eating. OR you can just buy them frozen. Let them thaw all day, or just pop them in the microwave or on the stove.
  • I'm totally doing this... although I'm not a protein powder kind of girl... maybe I'll opt for some lite Hershey's Syrup. And the peanut butter will make it so amazing!
  • I make something like this only in a casserole/lasagna form. I add seasoned black beans and use fajita seasoning instead of taco. Layer with tortillas and shredded cheese and bake til bubbly.
  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Ok so sometimes screaming helps. You sound stressed. Breathe. First of all, stress is not going to help at all. Secondly, I haven't the slightest how people cram so much activity into one day. Sometimes I think other people are like robots and don't sleep and survive on caffeine for fuel or…
  • I've got PCOS. Anyone is more than welcome to friend me. I want to go through and read all this, but I'm in a hurry right now. I'll try to log on and join the discussion later today.
  • I lost 11 my first month! Dropped a whole size! I love MFP!!!
  • I'm terrible at the whole breakfast thing. Lazy really. Its hard to make breakfast when you have a 4 month old to get changed, fed, and off to day care to be to work by 7am. No excuse really. But whatever. I have to be honest, what I do is easy stuff. Lately I've been running through the Jack in the Box drive thru. I order…

  • Fast food is a real temptation for me. If I must give in I try to load up my burger with veggies if possible and skip the processed cheese and heavy mayo. But my real downfall is CHOCOLATE! I love it. I've learned to try to get my fix by eating a small bowl of chocolate frozen yogurt drizzed with little bit of caramel…
  • I'm not sure about other sites but I know I substitute chicken breasts or pork tenderloin in place of fish in a lot of dishes. I'm not big on fish personally, and a lot of recipes are adaptable, its just a matter of knowing your meat, how to cook it, and what will and won't go well with it. Just experiement and surely…

  • First of all I haven't read every page of posts on this topic so forgive me if I give you a similar answer as someone else. I, too, have been in a long term relationship with my boyfriend. We've been together on and off, mostly on for nearly 6 years. We actually got engaged about a year and half in, then we hit a really…
  • just yesterday i made some port tenderloin in the slow cooker... i just cut it into about 1 inch peices and threw in about 12 peices with about a fourth cup water, a half cup a1, a fourth cup honey, half an onion (diced), and 2 tbsp fresh cracked pepper. left it all day and voila. served it with steamed peas and instant…
  • i bet with fresh or frozen ingredients (corn, beans, chicken, salsa) it would probably cut the sodium content and be easier to throw in a slow cooker in the morning to have for dinner. hmmmm.
  • i buy the premade kind in a tub from sam's club its called san francisco seafood & shrimp salad
  • seafood salad on wheat crackers and some fresh lemonade
  • I've got 2 cats, Hank & Ginger. Hank I'll call Hank-a-doodle-doo or just Hank-a-doo. Ginger is my sweet Gingie-bee.
  • Ok so I figured up the calorie content based on the ingredients I personally buy... all Kroger generics. I don't know where I got 200 calories... its more like 300 calories per serving. Anyway, still not bad... its very filling and most of the calories come from the beans, corn, and rice. I have left out the rice before,…
  • the calorie content will vary based on particular brands you use of everything, but i did figure it up one day and i think it was around 200 calories. and it will make 12 servings.
  • lol... they're like banana peppers only green... banana peppers will work with this recipe too... as will jalepenos... i just like the medium heat the anaheim ones give.
  • I premake a huge vat of fresh salsa. Then I freeze it in small portions and toss it into my lunch. Its thawed by noon... easy on the sugar... and oh so good!
  • I prefer baking chicken breasts/tenders in olive oil and some mrs. dash & rosemary & minced garlic... that way you don't get all that terrible sodium and calories from the cream. The benefits of olive oil far outweigh the calories and fat. You'll exchange cream for antioxidants and sodium for healthy fats. For added flavor…
