Sorry about that. I am eating 1800 as I ease in. MFP says to eat 1200, but for me, right now, that would be sabotage. I will work to get down to 1200 calories, but for now, I am focusing on eating less and eating more whole foods. I know this post is from a while back, but I was wondering... those of you who have been successful, did you "just" jump? Jog? I am trying to get in a shape for a big trip I have coming up in a week and a half...(plus I want to continue my weight loss, but just trying to maximize the next week or so as best as possible)

For the last week and half I have been exercising 50 min everyday and eating 1200-1500 cals. Yesterday i had 2700 calories!!! I had wine with dinner and it was all down hill from there :( No more alcohol for me. I do NOT make good decisions!!! I am just wondering how much this will set me back this week?? any ideas?…

I tend to crave peanut butter and I love Quaker Granola Bars the Chocolate and Peanut Butter Ones. Some are 100 cals and some are 90 per bar (depending on if you get the full sugar bars or the 25% less...both are good!)

I think it just depends on you personally. If you feel like you are able to "keep up" at 2lbs a week, go for it! However, if it's a struggle and you think you would fare better in the long run(cause thats what this is all about right?) by going at it "slow and steady" then change it. Do what works for you.
